The "COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement" law was passed by the NSW Parliament on March 30th. This law placed restrictions on public gatherings, limiting them to only two people. It also stated that individuals were not allowed to leave their place of residence without a reasonable excuse. The law provided a list of 16 valid excuses and went into effect at midnight on March 31st.
