A few years ago I had a game where an opponent had made it so that he had over 300+ health, people just surrendered while i just created tons of tokens and broke his board state piece by piece to eventually knock him out.

@@necro6471 why would he though, he had like twenty artifacts on the field and was close to assembling a combo, he also kept gaining life each turn. The game was over already the moment the metamorph transformed into the station.

Frank had lethal with purphoros. If he only paid 3 into the firecat blitz instead of 5, he could have flashed it back right away and sacked all of his lands (7). Ended up dealing 10 damage instead of 20.

Trevor didn’t attempt to cast his commander once to proliferate the walkers . I would’ve at least done that to try to ultimate Tamiyo .

Hell, just to gain some life and do some blocking. Atraxa is a hell of a Magic card, and it really seemed like Trevor didn't respect that.

@@kingfuzzy2 wotc really needs to print more myr Luckily, I'm hopeful that we're gonna have a return to [argentum] next year We still got 2 swords and 4 praetors to follow up on, plus a cylex from dominaria And golem tribal started in scars and is starting to get support

Great game! Purphy really brought the pain hard and fast as to be expected! But was so surprised to see Sydri pull it out in the end! I think I’ve built my Sydri totally wrong? Lol I need to see a deck list of this build..

I won with one real fast years ago. It is a very fun deck to play. Breya is great but I lose so many artifacts on my field to do much with her. So for now I'll be playing Sydri again. Can't go wrong with my first favorite artifact commander.

Never play Mana crypt turn one if you don't intend to use it that turn all it does is paint a target on your back and gives you a 50/50 chance of taking 3

{SPOILERS} That Mana Crypt was so rough even I felt the pain. Also, did Trevor forget to draw from Frank's attacking Seasoned Pyromancer at 5:24? I have an Atraxa deck, and getting her onto the field is one of my top priorities. Trevor didn't cast her once. No life gain (to counter some of what Frank was doing), no proliferation, and no protection for his planeswalkers. And Frank was left to his own devices far too much. I could see his win from far off. The twist was interesting though, when Harry's stations deck finally took off.

He can animate the Aetherflux so he can kill the table since it will give him the 50 life back he spends to kill a player.

I used to play Purph on mtgo all the time. If I wasn't immediately pounced on by all players I won 80% of games. It was sick then and still is

Everytime we see Purphoros, it just stomp over all other decks pinging them to death mercilessly it's neat to see how strong he is, but a bit underwhelming knowing all games with him in it ends up the same This game was one of the few exception where if you combo out, you can win against it

Without an early sol ring, purphoros is less scary though. It’s an interesting deck, not willing to do any politics to win.

No matter the boardstate, I would target the Purphoros player turn 1. If he intends to bring the table down bit by bit, everybody else should make sure that the player is in killrange if it gets too nasty.
