He was advised by his dad to not release this song until his wedding because he knew its gonna have the consequences and probably he would end up in jail. His line in 295 "Je anvi reha geetan vich sach bolda aun wali peedi educate milugi" (If sidhu will keep speaking truth in his songs then the coming age will be educated ) fits perfectly fine here.

The whole story is that it begins with the dispute over the water of Punjab( by water of punjab means that “rivers”, from which punjab name came, mns five rivers punj means five, aab means water, these river come from himachal state so according to international water riparian laws after the full usage of water by first state rest of the extra water would belong to next state, accordingly PUNJAB, since govt want to loot the resources, they constructed dams and new canals from there they diverted the water illegally to other states before reaching to punjab, consequently, punjab is leading towards desertification and other states which used to be desert are niw flourishing with the water of punjab… here when the actual story begins… then in 1984 Punjabis(sikhs) started opposing it and started agitation in which hundreds of thousands people were assassinated by government( even to the extent that wherever they see a turban, they took them to the fields and slaughtered them in different ways. By all doing this they said forget all about this and start a new life… But whose gona ans these questions… Ever seen your sister naked? Ever seen your naked father lying naked on his sister's naked body? Ever seen a mother and son having forced intercourse? Ever seen women's breasts cut off? Ever seen hot flames passing through the body? Ever seen a body being pulled by pulling the legs in the opposite direction? Ever seen someone hanging by their hair? Here is some more informationat 7:48 , So this speech was not frm a militant but from was politician . He stated that the Indra ghandi ( who was the Prime minister of Indian) she attacked on golden temple ( sikh religious place ) in order to get sant.bhindrawale( a freedom fighter ) . She told that politician that I KNW I HAVE ATTACKED THEIR TEMPLE, NOW THESE GUYS WHO DONT EVEN FORGOT 600 YEARFS AGO ENIMIES. SIKH WILL DEFINITELY GONNA KILL ME TOO , AS they killed the chef of army who conducted that operation in golden temple and killed so many innocent ppl , the General got killed in pune and general dire ( Dire was british army general who killed lots of sikhs before Indian independence)..sikh killed him in London and nOw sikhs will come after me .. so she knew she did wrong and will pay the price and eventually was shot down by punjabis

I just wanted to let you guys know that there are a few mistakes that the creator made. One of them is that the Sikhs that are in prison aren’t only there because they were protesting against the SYL. Some of the Sikhs like jagtar singh Hawara and balwant singh rajoana are in jail because they killed the CM of panjab(Beant Singh), the CM ordered the killings of many innocents Sikhs. Hawara and Rajoana were involved in the murder of that CM. They served their sentences but despite that the Indian government won’t release them. There are many more stories like that. I also wanted to let you know that the Sikhs and/or panjab is being oppressed by the Indian government and the water issue is one of the many problems we are facing. If you are interested, then I would gladly like to inform you about those issues.
