Why is Sylas one of the highest picked mids in solo q among pros? Good 1v1 potential, good gank set up, amazing snowballing, can be one of the best ulti's in the game depending on the enemy, decent waveclear, super good 2v2. In this current meta mids need low CD, high damage, good mobility, good waveclear. That's why Sylas, Akali, Irelia, Qiyana are some of the best mids to climb with if you are mechanically proficient.

I thought the fight at 31:18 was so educational to watch. You backed out when jax came in (I guess waiting for Annie CDs?), and then zhonya'd at 75% hp (I usually don't press it until I'm low) so you could dodge more damage and have CDs up again. Really cool to see how you play from ahead - I think I would've just gone in and gotten blown up. Thanks Pekin!

How good is Jax ult on Sylas? From what I've seen Ali ult is considered broken on Sylas and I'm wondering if the same is true for other ults that give resistances/damage reduction.

As a Sylas main its annoying me so much that he is now flavor of the month all of a sudden. I want him back at B Tier so hes not banned or picked every second game. Now everything that was great about him for a main sucks: Everyone now knows how to play against him, hes MUCH more often picked or banned away and they will nerf him into the absolute dirt because now everyone and their mom thinks they should play sylas...

Im a sylas main in plat1 and tbh the showmaker build with presence of mind cosmic insight and dark seal start with e max as a second ability is just better, at least for me

Problem with game its ability spam, in dota2 when ever something its broken, just make it cost more mana, but here lux can stun you every 3 sec
