Josh comments "After 3 long years, Sylosis are back! I want to thank all of our fans for their patience and support over these last few years. 'Cycle of Suffering' is dedicated to them.
With this new chapter, we close another; I’d like to thank Carl Parnell for his time in Sylosis. Many great memories made with him and I wish him the best in his career. Now we welcome Conor Marshall to Sylosis! Another man in another band (Conjurer) - Conor is an amazing player and compliments what we do really well. A warm welcome planned for 13th February where we play our first show in over 4 years! We’re excited and focussed - see you in 2020!"

Josh is a melancholic beast. I love His Spirit. Every album is heavy, deep, emotional. Includes so many sadness, pain, anger, desparation. They are excellent mixed. Moreover - perfect techniq. I really admire all members of Sylosis.

While Josh plays for the Architect, he looks like a simple band mate doing his job of playing the guitar but u remove him from that spot and place him in Sylosis and u will unleash the beast within (brutal vocals) . Sylosis u are officially back with a bang. Love both bands a lot and also love the fact that Josh (an awesome musician) plays in both bands 🤘🏻. Cant wait for the new album

@@Lu1zh1 Sylosis and Gojira are almost uncomparable... I don't wanna say one over the other because they're both so great. No need to like one over the other when you can just jam like hell to both.

@@homerdj0nt In some ways I agree. I'm happy he hasn't adopted his dramatic edge. Sam's a bit to 'whiny' for the lack of a better word. I've always liked Joss' ability to sound raw. Hopes he keeps that 😊

@@denniskirkegaardjensen3597 nice we can agree on that, but i wouldnt call it whiny tho, theres nothing whiny about The Seventh Circle, A Match made in Heaven, Nihilist, Naysayer, These Colours, its just uterly disgusting vocals, for whiny I would call emotional maybe, when these kind of vocals suits better for what the song is about, or just to portray the message better, im all in, I like the overall rawness but no wonder the part I liked most are the crescendo and the more melodic-emotional vocal/medoly part at 3:55

@@homerdj0nt People need to get better at agreeing to disagree. I would agree with how you describe Sam's vocals - deff. too emotional for myself. I'm not taking anything away from Sam. I would probably go as far as to say that Joss' also got better at pronunciation. He probably got that from Sam as well 🤔

@@denniskirkegaardjensen3597 sure, the tracks I mentioned are the ones i mean by disgusting vocals, but sure theres a lot of emotional others. Yea pronunciation is nice, but do u feel like his vocals, at least on this track, are more centered on the delivery rather than on technique? I think thats it, made felt some resemblance with Sam

This song gets better every time I listen to it! Josh's vocals are the highlight of the song in my opinion! Not to take anything away from Sylosis as a band because I love them and they equally make this band in their parts! Amazing musicians all around! I usually just go off about the riffs being a fellow guitar player, but this song is sic and Josh killed it laying down the vocals!
