One of Sylosis' older songs, recorded by Silent Syndicate Productions when they played the HMV Institute in Birmingham. An amazing set, and a brilliant gig! (They where supporting on Killswitch Engage on the 'Disarm The Descent'
I was sad when I heard that Jamie left the band, but when EotE came out and I gave it a good 3 or 4 listens I began to like Josh's vocals a lot more. I'm actually hoping that Sylosis will re-release CoaA with Josh on vocals just for shits and grins. I think Jamie's vocals kicked ass on that album, but I'm curious to see how Josh's vocals would have worked out.
Jamie’s vocals were really good but honestly l ended up liking Josh’s more and think edge of the earth is a masterpiece, that and monolith are their best albums and are just glorious.
Honestly a great band, phenomenal musicians with a wicked style. But this is a poor version of this song, bit slops on their chops, but still enjoyable :)
MrLustor He's just giving an opinion, lol. I sort of agree with him, I've heard better live versions of this. Of course they're not all going to sound the same. I still like it non-the-less.
I'm a little late to the party here, but I have to agree with the OP. not the greatest performance of this song. seems like they also slowed the tempo down a bit. maybe Josh was still trying to ease into the role of guitarist and vocalist. if you watch later performances of Teras, especially at Graspop, they did a freaking phenomenal job. LONG LIVE SYLOSIS! THE GREATEST MODERN DAY METAL BAND *(in my opinion)
Hey man, can you please upload Sands of Time? It's my favorite Sylosistune I'd really love to watch a pro footage recording of that! thanks in advance!
