They were FANTASTIC when we saw them. The video does justice to the fun and the quality, but nothing can match the energy of being there in real life. If you like this video and haven't seen then person, don't miss any opportunity you get!
it always amazes me how effortless she sounds. she sounds like she sounds the same off stage and on stage, like i don't think this woman gets stage fright
It is comforting to see that pros flub too. Then they roll with it and laugh it off. Then CRUSH. They look like they are in their element. Having so much fun.
matty you're a moron with poor taste and bad time management skills, as you choose to spend yours not only watching videos of bands you (stupidly!) don't like, but also commenting on them. Truly sad!
Just an absolutely *extraordinary* rendition of "Hey Mami" as the opener. (Best version, though no hate to the rooftop version w/ backup band.) Love it forever.
I found this band through a live performance on concert festival of Firefly in like 2016 or something, this proved to be even more of a reason why I like them! Too bad I missed them at Boston Calling :(
Late answer, but he’s generally using OP-1 and Moog Minotaure, driven by Ableton sending them the midi notes and he adjusts the filters, etc on the physical gear on the fly.
@@johnpinck5881 wow, that's pretty crazy. I'd love to see more of his process and workflow...did you learn about this somewhere that might have more info?
I'm not in love with Sylvan Esso, but there is a lot of hate on this page. If you hate SE that much, I can't imagine how you feel about top 40 music. I think there is other music that is a bigger issue...
I hate 9 out of 10 top 40 songs.. but I LOVE these guys! I saw them in concert and the lights were so bright I spent most of it peeking through my fingers! I still say they were fabulous!
Actually watch the official video there is a ton of dancing in the video. For some reason this is what Indie Synth whatever this genre is dance this way.
Dissing Amelia’s voice? What the what? If you’re unimpressed here, check out Mountain Man, her first band, which was basically just sweet sweet a cappella Appalachian harmonies - Feist took them on tour for a while as her backing singers 👌
Carlos Munoz that's where trolls live, under bridges. Did your parents not teach you that if you don't have anything good to say you shouldn't say anything at all? Isn't there enough hate and negativity in the world? Why do you feel the need to put more out there? These two are having fun and making beautiful music that many people love. If it's not something you like why not pass it up and move on? Why spend your time shitting on it? Why not find music you do like and express positive sentiments about that instead? You're obviously articulate, why not articulate positively instead of negatively?
