You said it yourself, he is talented, record labels will see that as well, meaning he will get his creative freedom. He won't be signed if they don't think he has "it". That's how financial investments are made. With freedom and exposure due to a new label comes more than a few songs people will remember him by. Hence, QuEst will always have his strong fan base.
