Hello😊🐧!
In this video I show the Sylvanian penguins.
There are only two families of penguins, the oldest, released in 2007, which is the De Burg Family, and the most recent family, released in 2022, the Waddle Family.
They are totally different molds, in my opinion the old penguins are more similar to real penguins and have a more real look, some collectors don't like this family. I don't love them but after getting used to their serious look I started to like them. The babies in this family are adorable and I love them, I think they are very cute and have many similarities to real baby penguin.
The adults in the Waddle family have a more friendly look. The babies are also cute but I think I like the De Burg family babies more.
They are two totally different families and both have interesting characteristics that make them special.

I like the look of the older version, they look so funny ! The soft fur on the babies make them realistic. But the new ones are prettier ;)

Yes, I also think the Waddles are prettier but I like the babies from the De Burg family more, I think they are very cute. Whenever I see them for sale I have a hard time resisting😅. Thank you very much for watching ❤️!

The vintage version makes me remind the animation Happy Feet, and the Waddle version makes mdm remind the animation Pingu❤️🐧 The smiling penguin of vintage version is so adorable>

Very nice video! I don't understand why some collectors don't like the Burg Penguin Family 🐧, they may be different, but there's nothing wrong with it, they're surely more original than most families 😊. I don't have the babies yet, but looking forward to it :-)

It's so interesting seeing these two families side by side! The Deburgs are certainly more realistic, but I think the Waddles feel a bit more Sylvanian in their rounder shape, definitely room for both though, could be different types of penguin! 🐧

Thank you very much Peachy❤️, I agree there is a place for these two families in Sylvanian, they are very different. I admit that I think the Waddles are cuter but I love the De Burg babies, they really look like baby penguins and are absolutely adorable to me.

Very nice video comparing the two families! The De Burg family is interesting and more realistic. I’ve had the opportunity to get them in the past but held off for some reason. Thank you for showing that their arms can move - I always wondered. They make the Waddle family look like Lil Woodzeez, although I like the Waddle family more as they have a whimsical, circus look. Agree with you that the De Burg babies are quite unique and the sleeping baby is very cute. Waddle babies are less realistic but I still find them adorable. Love your photos of all the babies lined up in the end. ❤🐧

Thank you very much❤️, I'm glad you liked it and found it useful. Their heads also move, although in my case, some force was needed. Unfortunately, they can't sit down. I also passed up some opportunities to buy them, until a family appeared for sale with 4 babies, I couldn't resist. The De Burg family doesn't have many fans and I can understand why, but after buying it I think they fit well into Sylvanian. My daughter created a moving story with mother De Burg going to Mother Waddle to pick up her babies, (we already had some De Burg babies), and Mother Waddle couldn't separate herself from the babies. Solution: The two families will live together🥲💕!

Thank you very much Debby🥰, I understand you, the Waddles have a friendlier look. The De Burg family has a more serious look, they almost look like miniatures of real penguins. I confess that although they are not one of my favorite families, I love the babies and find them irresistible🤭!
