I think that's the greatest appeal of the Rocky movies, the fact that Rocky Balboa is just a regular guy who was/is doing his best to be a good person and get by. He got a huge opportunity, jumped at it like most people would have, and learned a ton of hard lessons along the way. Which is why "Rocky Balboa" and "Creed II" in particular are good movies, because you really get the sense of all that life experience and all those lessons coming out.
Your Rocky Gimmick In Blue Hat, Black Jacket And Brown Shoes Were Far Better Than Any Actor's Personality Yet. You Were And Is Still The Inspiration Of Millions Of People Around The World
If they wanted us to think Rocky's hat was blue, they should've lit it better. It's definitely black onscreen. In not just the first movie, but "II" and "V" as well (it's a different-style hat altogether in "Balboa" but it's back to being the original style in the "Creed"s).
@@ConstantineFurman In some shots, you can definitely see the blue. But it depends on what transfer of the film you're watching, as some releases of the film played with the original negative's colors in the home video transfers. If you have a nice, original 35mm print, which most people don't, you'll notice the blue in certain shots. I mean, for some people, it doesn't matter, but for pure accuracy, the original hat was a unique shade of dark blue/gray that in a lot of the transfers after contrast messing, ends up looking black.
@@redadamearth Every single master I've ever seen of the movie shows it as black. And I've seen/own a bunch of masters, from various VHS (mid 80s to remastered for 20th anniversary), to various DVDs, to blu-ray. Even when I saw it in theaters in 2020, it was still black. Same for "Rocky II" and "Rocky V" as well.
I love you Sly! 80s Kid and grew up with you. I will thank you a very mutch. Had a bad childhood with pain, and my father died and you took (kind of) his position. Thank you Mr. Stallone
@@tobe1207 No. Paying extra to a third-party shipper, he might as well just pay the import fees, as the whole problem he's talking about is paying more than the regular shipping cost to get it there.
I like it because I got the clothes to look similar: A dark gray fedora, a vintage Levi’s trucker jean jacket, a sport gray long sleeved shirt, jeans (that are a little light blue), and black Converse All-Stars. 😉
1979: "Have you ever heard of Smart Deal Toy Company? They're the best, they're 'number one.' They wanna make a Rocky doll. You can kick it, you can beat it -- You know... for kids! You can kick it, you can beat it... Takes a terrific beating." Me in 2023: "You been duckin' me 44 years, Rock..." I'm gonna beat you like a dog, you hear? A DOG!" Me, also in 2023: "All those beatings you received from me in the ring, my wallet took them with you!"
healthy, you are my idol as well as I take as my father because you are the same as my father and you are the same age and my mother also I take as my father he is Arnold Schwarzenegger also the same age as my mother.. and I really want you to be healthy and many years..
I was not into action figures back then but I has the six million Dollar man,if they made the Rocky action figure then and I had it,it would be going up in value,I have seen every Rocky movie at the theater as it came out, except the first Creed I saw it on a free preview of HBO years ago.
Hey Mr. Stallone can I please get you for a phone interview, I am proffesional, and I have lots of ideas that would make the call different from a regular phone interview then.
Amazing. I've just purchased the new steelbooks of the rocky films. However, I just hope Sly comes back for Tulsa King season 2 because that show is incredible.
Love the merch Mr. Stallone. I just wish you'd do a 1/18 Rambo or Cobra so they can hang out with my GI Joe Collection. XD. C'mon! Make the dream come true of the kids (now adults) that watched your films and the Rambo Cartoon in the 80's and 90's!
Hello Mr Stallone my name is Vernon Madsgard. I’m a long time fan of your movies. I have some ideas for your next possible figurines statues as well as other non figurine related projects you can do. For example since Rambo is such a huge franchise here’s an idea for one of your next projects:why not get all of your Rambo videogames that were ever made, and do a huge Rambo videogame compilation just like Konami did with their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles compilation that they made for the Nintendo switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S, and with it you can do a special collector’s edition, and with the collector’s edition you can let people who will definitely buy it myself included pick which Rambo statue, or knife they want in their collector’s editions? OK that’s one idea. The second idea is an over the top statue and with the statue should also have the truck with opening and closing rear and passenger doors and opening truck top to reveal the exercise equipment he used while he was driving that actually moves up and down as well as his son. There could also be another one where Lincoln, Hawke and his son and the truck is the one that he won at the end of the movie. I also think an over the top video game for PlayStation, five Xbox series X and Nintendo switch would be a good idea. I would buy all of those too
