I run pretty much this same deck (I'm a new player so it's very much my one-trick pony until I get more cards together) except I run Circle of Life instead of Tempering, and I run Harald Gord and Isengrim's Council instead of Shaping Nature and Frog Mating Season. Curious to finish the video and see if I feel like tuning my deck at all based on how it performs Also time travelling to say I loved the Acherontia deck video
Shaping Nature felt weak to me so I swapped it for Council for the added consistency. I then traded a dryad enchantress for the runestone bc I love highrolls and sometimes they come in clutch!!
I wanted to give Shaping Nature a shot since I hadn't in a while and figured it might be good enough value with the Vitality comboing Frogs and Fledgling. It felt fine, but Council is a good card too. The Runestones are cool cards though!
@@platinumpatrol2964 I missed simlas so that’s why I added it haha still think shaping nature could use a slight buff Edit: also the effect isn’t useful enough to be echo (it scuffs mulligans) and in a single round Simlas or a random dryad +2 will always be worth more
One of my favourite archetypes but totally lacks control. Monsters needed control then they got control OP with the new cards. 🤷🏻♂️ Frog S is bad, too.
Yeah, other than Rebuke all the options are too awkward to be consistent. Pondkeeper really needs you to boost a Treant first, Great Oak needs to wait until the end of the round basically, and Poison/Brehen dont fit.
He was way too afraid about the possibility of me having the Dryad's Caress. Sometimes the fear of a card and playing around it is worse than if the opponent actually has it lol
