Hello Mike. Thanks for the very helpful content. I wish you do a video on how to use the underlay in a floor plan. I'm a bit confused about using the top and base levels, the orientation, up, down, unbounded etc....
Ahmad… those settings for underlying views is crazy. I think the guy that invented them was in drugs. They are NOT intuitive and don’t seem to work all the time… but.. I found a Trick… set your view discipline to ‘coordination’. Things seem to work so much better with respect to the underlays!!! Try it.
Hey Mike, thanks for the insightful Video! I am trying to create symbolic lines that appear when I see a projection of my family but not show up in a cut view. Is this possible? Tks so much!
A masking region will cover up things under it. Symbolic lines are simply lines and don’t cover up other items back in the model. There are different times to use each method.

@@mauricioalonsojumpazevallo5582 The best method to show a power outlet BEHIND a kitchen casework is to make the casework transparent for a minute while you use LW tool to select the lines of the outlet... then when you make the casework non-transparent you can still see where the outlet is.
