Thanks a lot for the video, it was fascinating! As a few points of constructive criticism, I'd really wish the editing was simpler (no chat message, no facebook live overlay on the interviews, etc). As it is now, it really distracts from the narration without bringing anything to the viewer. Another thing you could do that would be great is to add the credits of artworks you show when they are one screen. I really loved some of those paintings, but as it is now I have no way to find them again and/or learn more about them. That said, I want to stress that I still think your videos are great and I tremendously enjoyed them :)

As other commenter pointed out, the editing is really all over the place and distracts from the great audio content. My suggestion is to bring more fluidity to the videos, only one aesthetic theme to each video, and no wikipedia please.

I understand why these artist expressed themselves the way they did, they had as was stated anxiety, fears and melancholic feelings, thoughts etc. However, to live in that world and not step out is miserable. Although as clearly seen lots of great art was produced through those themes. Munch, the Brotherhood, Gauguin lots of talent and emotion brought about universal connections.

The info here is great, but the editing is all over the place. I'm not convinced that stuff like Dante messaging Rodin really did anything for the story other than temporarily distract me from it while I tried to read the text bubbles. The art historian lady around 2:17 has way lower audio than the rest of the video and was it really necessary to show the mouse clicking play? And a large part of the piece about Evelyn De Morgan was footage of scrolling down a webpage with her art? It's fine if the world maps you're showing are coming from google maps, but having the actual google maps search bar and generic info on London in the frame was a bit much. I also don't understand why a random paragraph with a play bar above it is scrolling across the Gaugin painting around 1:48. The list goes on. It felt very cluttered visually.

A painting of Theseus symbolizes maybe: wisdom, the husband of Medea, the abductor of women, one who reconciled political differences....What does The Scream symbolize? It isn't a metaphor like a rose symbolizes romance,.I don't think it symbolizes anything. It directly reports (as great artists always do with their observations) the feeling we have when we panic...we may not show our feeling to others but The Scream does. And shows how the world is distorted by panic. What else is Edvard reporting to/for us?
@CuriousMuse

Rachmaninoff springs to mind immediately. Especially his "Isle of the Dead" which was inspired by a painting shown in this very video. It is as atmospheric as it is dreamlike. Debussy and Mahler fit the bill and Glazunov is an honorable mention.
