The melody in "Sentimental" feels like it was in an old luxury shoebox in my grandma’s closet. A bit dusty, but still beautiful and classic as ever. Just the sight of the box brings back memories of dancing and too much champagne on late summer evenings. It’s a longing to move like you used to when you were young. It’s a waltz with a hitch in its step. When the orchestra hits, the lush daydream becomes real! But sadly, we can’t live there for long, and the shoebox goes back on the shelf. It’s always there, ready for another dream - worth it every time.

I lost my friend Lailyn a few days ago, she was 13. This makes me think of times with her at recess and running around the football field. She is in a much better place now. Thank you SYLM.🙂

This song makes me think of my Mom. She passed away Sep 6th 2021. I think of the memories and how much I miss the old days. her absence is still very deeply felt.

My grandmother, Shirley wasn't supposed to live past 6 mos. Grew to be an extraordinary pianist. Played in Chicago plays, gave lessons, played organ and piano for the church. This takes me back. Sitting in the foyer, listening to her get encapsulated by her music, her passion. This takes me away. Thank you!

She always liked soft calming music with a classic touch. It made me cry with tears that where waiting to come down. My mother asked me recently for the first time at here home: what is your name ?and the week after that: do you come here more often?. As she is losing her memory bit by bit your music helps to make space for memories together ❤. So for me this song is dedicated to people and families that have to deal with a loved one with dementia. Thank you huge again. May you travel with love and peace around you dear fellow traveler.

This melody got me "Sentimental " and it took me on the journey of my life, where it started , from being in my mom's belly with her sacrifice and tiredness to have me at age 41, being the last child of 12 , then growing and being a Happy 3 year old , but soon after the turmoil happened, my parents divorced and the chaos began , and then more turmoil, abandonment, insecurity, unhappiness but finally the music changed and also my life where I could forgive and understand everything, now at age 56 I am finally at a wonderful place of love and going back as the music to where it started to that happy child.

I cherish her memories in my head like a Film. Chapter 1: - Fell in love with Spring 2023 🩵-

I was driving when I first heard this song & a scene played in my head through the whole thing. It was a penguin in his igloo making dinner for himself with a candle and it showed a pic of him and his now passed penguin love. He did this every night, and he looks outside one morning to see many penguin couples ice dancing. He smiles and is happy but turns away and is sad again. As the music gets the loudest he looks out again and seeee his penguin love come back, with an egg. She wasn’t dead! But giving birth. 🥹
