Play this to someone who has no concept of video games and then try to convince them it's based around a game where a Gorilla rivals an obese Crocodile
Well... it was originally orchestrated and then converted to fit in snes cartridge sound codes losing a lot of quality of course. But the basic idea was there all the time , and its like this how is supposed to sound in first place
Not gonna lie, I'm just sitting here having a smoke with my head held down and thinking back to the fun I had playing this game back in the mid 90s. Plus reminiscing about my best friend who loved this song and us cruising around in his car with this song blaring, while missing him so much as a tear falls down.
I think this is truly a testament to Dave Wise, with all the hardware limitation on SNES system, he was able to create one of the best game music worthy of an orchestra like this. Thanks OP for uploading this.
Yes, Dave Wise was really a genius when it comes to the SNES Soundchip made by Sony. He did so amazing tunes on the SNES System, that are still a joy to listen in 2019...
Could have been better if it was closer to the original. They played what seems to be the smash bros version for the switch which has a different tempo. Still very enjoyable in every regard
John Steed John Steed we as viewers have to send the link to this to people to make sure others know abt it and hear it. I just sent to 5 friends. This is freakin amazing.
Dave wise HAD to cry when he saw this....how amazing it is to make something you love and that becomes beloved worldwide and remain relevant...be proud of yourself for this...cause I am grateful that video game music is so strong nowdays
Dunno man... im sittin here in quarantine and fighting with a small depression and suddenly im 10 years again and got tears in my eyes... thank you for that! :,)
@@thevulture5750 thank you for asking! Much, much better! I luckily found myself again and strangely enough the video was like a little turning point for me. I hope you are well too!
Dude, its a year later at 6:29 am on a Saturday morning (late friday night) and this has me in happy tears. This video was made to be listened to in the wee hours of the sun.
November 21, 1995 ...was 13 years old. Came home from school and pounded hours on this game with my late little brother. Man this game and its music was an amazing journey!
Com toda a certeza. Isso que as trilhas sonoras antigamente eram as melhores da história. Mas nesse jogo, David Wise chegou a seu ápice! Stickerbrush Symphony é com certeza o maior tema de um game da história!
The ambiance David Wise placed on this soundtrack is beyond amazing, and i'm amazed the orchestra managed to place that same feeling with the wind sounds on Jig Jig or the tools used in mining melancholy, just wow.
I love DKC 1&2 and I fucking love Smash Ultimate, but man, there is about 80 characters (and more incoming), over 70 franchises (as far as I know) in the game. Only 3 characters from DKC. I think is far enough, because if you ask me I would directly put all the Mario Galaxy 1%2 soundtrack in the game :D
DKC 2 is one of the GREATEST and I mean GREATEST games ever made! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this game. I'm so blessed to have had this game as a kid and I will forever be grateful to David Wise and this LEGENDARY soundtrack 🥲🥲🥲🙏🏿
