any updates for the symphony desktop?

Just wanna say, i wasted years with audio interfaces only to buy this, and realize every preamp has a true sound, but the AD has to be top shelf to get everything out of all preamps... if i would have bought this thing years ago id have a grammy by now. Sold crazy nice pre's cause i thought they sounded dull only to rent them after i got this and realized all kinds of magic is hidden in mid A to D... if your're on the fence .. buy one it'll save you years of money and gear lust.

Whats the difference between Mastering grade on the Se 2/6 inputs and Mastering quality on tge 16/16 inputs?

I´d love to see a great update like this for the Duet 3, specially on MAC, more features on the software, the ability to select the buffer size on the native app for MAC, te ability to change how much every single little leds light on the duet, and more...

Make a desktop symphony that works as a remote for the larger symphony!!! That would be a nice travel companion/studio set up.

Anyone using symphony mk2 with the new control 2 software? this is not like the old Symphony control at all. can't figure out how to name my channels or mono the ADAT channels like I could in the old software....Can I revert back to the old software?

does anyone in the market know where the difference is in the special edition?!

Apogee needs to update the symphony mkII to allow access to the control software via Dante for us studios that run pro tools hdx and Dante They started working on that software and dropped it I think Apogee really dropped the ball when they stopped that project. These are supposed to be high end but not in that aspect and all other companies have implemented control software we need that software Dante, Dante controller is not enough please make your control software work on Dante for us professionals

It's 2023 and we're still using Thunderbolt 2. Yeah! You know what was also released in 2023? The Thunderbolt 5 spec. With Apogee you're always 3 generations behind. Yeah!

So one of my I/O modules will HAVE to be a mic input for Dolby Atmos which I’ll never use for anything else and no onboard calibration tool. Is that correct? 😅

I've had my Symphony 8x8+8 since 2017 and she's been an absolute workhorse. My current workflow demands 16 channels and was wondering about upgrading my chassis into a 16x16+8 as i'd really love to stay with the Apogee family. Any advice on moving forward would be appreciated. Thanks!

This chassis is 6 years old. The Thunderbolt edition comes with an old connector. And has increased 30% in price.
