History is my passion and when I go to Mexico I always go to ruins. I've been to Chacchoben twice. They are wonderful! I think it's important to mention that if anyone has mobility issues and does not have a scooter they should always inquire where they have to go to get their tour. Sometimes it's a hike they might not want to take. I have bad knees and prefer to save my walking for the ruins and not walking to an area outside the port to find my tour bus. I have heard of the tour company you used and they come very highly recommended.

I had to get my tour at that location when I was in casa Maya. I went to Mayan chan which was excellent. I will go there again because when I went the seaweed was up to your knees so I didn't get to enjoy the beach. people were very nice,friendly and the food was delicious and it had a limit of how many people could come.

What a fantastic excursion. Love your iguana jacket, and also love Rob's "Born to cruise, have to work" t-shirt - both of them are definitely something I'd wear! I always buy/wear stuff that gives others a smile, or starts a conversation. I was wearing my t-shirt with Grumpy on it the other day that says "Do I LOOK like I care?" and it made 4 people I saw in the doctor's office smile, and got 2 people talking to me! :) Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey to you and Rob, the whole family, and all the gorgeous fur babies! Hi Favor and Rob. Loved the tour with a guide that was local. I enjoy learning the history of the area we visit. So I truly enjoyed this video. A beach is a beach but history changes everywhere you go. Learning about the culture of the people is so much more rewarding then just slipping drinks in the sun. But oh don't get me wrong I enjoy that too! 😉 The first time I go somewhere I want to take in the history and the local sights. So happy you gave me an opportunity to view that through your excursion. Hugs and ❤️.

Loved the vlog. I would love to see the ruins. However I would have to admire them from the ground, I have both knees replaced and a lot of stairs are still a problem and I have a history of AFib and sometimes excessive stair climbing makes my heart flutter. And have been missing your home vlogs.

lol Did I hear Robert chuckle when you said about the signs and people like you can't get lost? XD Hearing the history from someone who is from there and not brought in from somewhere else gives you such a better aspect and view. They "Know" instead of being trained. That's why I loved when we went to Altun Ha in Belize through a Royal excursion. SO GOOD. Favor I'm right there with you with the "too narrow" "just don't back up" Nope, nope, nope I'd have to hang on to Ed while he walked and watch my feet "IF" I wanted to get those views. My video would be all shaky and who knows what it would show lol. Cute Iguana jacket!!

Why do you have to make a reservation for the water show? It looked pretty empty.

Hi, it was very empty everywhere but the side we sat on which was quite full. The middle section was reserved for Families with unvaccinated children and the far section for Diamond, Diamond plus etc. and suite guests. . There were many families on the ship so I am assuming it was thought there would need to be more space for them ( the next time we see the show it is packed). Now that Royal is limiting capacity in venues you need to make reservations so you can have a spot. All shows were completely reserved by the second day including this one. Thank you for watching! Hi, is there taxis around to take you to and from port to the native choice?

Hi, you can exit the port area as we did and at about the 2:54 - 3:15 time stamp you see the taxi's. You can request a ride from them. I do not know the cost but it should not be much as the distance is not very far. Have fun!

@@cindyluv68 Hi, we left about an hour and a half before our meet time. Sometimes this port can be very busy and can take a few minutes to get through the crowds of people.

Love your vlogs Favor! It was choppy like that when we went to Costa Maya and our ship was rocking and rolling at the pier. Do you think you'll hop on the Carnival Ecstasy for its last sailing out of Moblie? Looking into if the children must be vaccinated protocol changes. Would love to meet you onboard and Parodeejay!

Hi, no we will not be hopping on the Ecstasy, wish we could. We have never sailed from Mobile. The water was so choppy and the wind was strong! Have a fun cruise! I am sure we will meet at some point! And PDJ is the best, you will never meet two nicer people. Hugs!
