Was waiting for this review. Great coverage. Haven’t looked at the dimensional specs yet, but it would be nice if it was a bit more compressible when not fully packed out. I couldn’t help thinking it was similar to some of Aer’s offerings as well. BTW-you have me wondering if I am slowly becoming a backpack nerd.
Really wanted this bag for an upcoming trip, but they were sold out. Ended up messaging them on IG to inquire about a restock. They got back to me super quick and said they had a Weekender with a minor blemish (sent pics and I approved). They shipped it out soon after purchase and now I can't wait for it to come in! Great brand, and even better customer service.
Love this review! What bag do you usually bring for travels? I always think that travel is made easier when you have the best travel gear and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for travels like this. Thought I'd share it with you, too! Can you please do a review on the Bento Bag by Nomad Lane?
Thanks Francine! I go back and forth depending on my style of travel and what I’m reviewing at the time. I did a video titled ‘my favorite bags’ - you should check it out :)
I had to sub, this channel is too good. Wish you would get ahold of Nomatic's new collapsible line. Particularly the 6L sling and the 16L backpack. I need a bag to take around once I get to wherever I'm going. Also I have to fit it in a personal item bag. Big points on comfort and a spot to put a water bottle. Still looking around but I need one by Superbowl weekend.
Thanks so much! Check out our review of the Aer Go Series (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rLZvGZl4j0Y.html) the collapsible backpack should be right up your alley. We also have a review of a different Nomatic collapsible backpack (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WdlBXQdYnbw.html) and it’s sick
I don’t mind the look given it would commute to my office. But the not always standing on it’s own? That’s a dealbreaker for a bag that looks like this.
This seems like exactly what I have been wanting to find. Thanks :) When I have the funds I'll try find this video and get you guys some pay back through the link. Cheers
Are you going to be dropping the sympl commuter pack review soon? I think I’m interested in checking it out, but want to see your details on it. Pros and cons, and if course use your link to snag it.
The lack of side handle on the left side for right-handed backpack back unload threw me off when searching for a 25L backpack. A missed opportunity. They just needed to add the same handle they added to their travel pack.
Smaller bag = less real estate. Personally which side the handle is located on is something I’ve never even thought about, but I know for some people it’s important.
Great reviews! You do awesome videos. Has any one in the history of mankind ever used one of the key chain holders? Be honest. They seem to be on every bag.
Any idea when this is coming? Between a few options and thinking of ordering one (depending on what you think) and would love to use your affiliate link! @@Nomads.Nation
I like this backpack, but I don't like laptop sleeves on the sides of bags---I had a computer fall out on a concrete floor when I was distracted and didn't realize I hadn't fully zipped the pocket.
Love your reviews and appreciate the effort you put into them. On this great pack, how hard do you think it would be to remove the white paint branding from the surface without damaging the exterior material? Any thoughts on this? Love the pack, but that bright white paint would bug the @#$% out of me over time.
Thanks Mark! To be honest, I'm really not sure... I wouldn't want to mislead you but MAYBE a sharpie could do the trick but again, this is not my expertise. But I would say it's a great pack and I wouldn't let the branding sway me one way or the other. Happy new year!
I just realized NOW after having watched dozens of your videos, that the logo at the top right in the video ("FRONT", "BACK", etc), gradually changes color to indicate the duration of that section of the video...
A word of caution for those seeking reviews/first-hand experiences about this bag on Reddit. There are two accounts that are shilling this bag on almost every single reddit thread about a post inquiring about this Sympl Weekender bag (or any Sympl product). It looks like they're employees of the company, since their post history is only and always shilling Sympl products. I mention this because I was so close to pulling the trigger on this bag, but have second thoughts now after finding this out. And because of how other users were mentioning that Sympl was "doing their best to suppress my legitimate feedback online." when the feedback was negative. Just my 2 cents of going down the rabbit hole lol, still looking for my EDC bag.
How weatherproof is this material? Compared to the X-Pac of Aer products i'm sure it isn't as good but will I be fine if I were to be caught out in some heavy rain?
I love your reviews, attention to detail, speed and humor. I dig this backpack but the BRANDING is too much.... unless is use black duck tape... I'm looking for a business pack. I'm gonna have to pass on this one. Thank you Aaron and team!
Recently purchased a Cravar Rana 15. It has Loop velcro installed in it, as it was originally designed as a large camera bag. I'm using it as my daily brief case and am looking for organizers that can attach to the loop velcro. Do you have any suggestions?
@@gabrielagno6250 correct, we don't have a discount code for this bag, just a secure link to send you to the official website (that also gives us a small commission if you make a purchase to help support the channel 🫶)
Man, make a video about a weekender backpack which can hold both a lot of clothes and a SteamDeck and 2-3 gamepads. Each video you always tuck in a laptop, and mostly 99,99% of backpacks are perfect for a flat thing like a laptop so it's not an issue at all, ever. A little problem is with items like the mentioned gamepads or irregular size consoles (yea, Steam deck). That's how I travel and can't find the perfect backpack where I can easily store 3 gamepads and some more tech. I don't need super dedicated compartments but something that would be suitable and separate from clothes
I had to google ‘steamdeck’ cuz I had no idea what it was lol, I’m not much of a gamer. But if you send me the whole setup I’ll shoot the review for sure 😜
