Firstly I want to say, I'm so glad you're doing well my friend! Seeing you with a smile on your face makes me happy brother! I'm not entirely sure I want to hear about the penis smashing story...LOL. I deal with depression a little similarly. Mine hits like a fucking ton of bricks. I never want to eat or do anything. I don't sleep much more than usual but I stay inside all day long. Mine doesn't always get kicked off by a singular incident (some times it does) it just hits for no reason. Then it'll go away just a quickly and for no reason. Thanks for doing these videos man. It's helpful to know that someone else goes through the same type of shit. Again, I'm glad you're doing well bro. Keep being awesome!

Similar but not quite the same I will say. Again, I am glad you and others are finding these videos somewhat helpful and comforting since that was one of the reasons I started doing these type of videos. Same way, although when I go through that it can get real bad to the point self-harming behaviors which i not good. It is also nice to see you in great spirits again too.

These days I only get depressed over aspects of my life that I can't control. Car troubles, extra workloads, etc. However I know longer empower people or my poor choices as reasons to feel depressed. Its all a matter of maintaining a passionate burning desire and devising a plan to get there. If you fail to get where you want to be, its ok to fail, it only means you need to revise your plan and try again. You can apply this principle in every aspect of your life.

Apparently besides the "standard" things, there is another force at work which really sucks. I will say this though, I am a pretty resilient and determined, so I will not just give up and I will keep and coming right back at it. I really am going to have to look at all aspects in life though.

Here's a list of books that have helped me succeed and might help you: How to make Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie 1936 edition, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill 1937 edition, The laws of Attraction by Rhonda Burns, Fountain Head by Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, The Road to Serfdom by F.A. Hayek and the Bible. Even if you don't except all of the principles in these books, applying some of them in every aspect of your life will help immensely.

Thank you for being brave enough to deal with this topic as it is often one that is pushed back into the corner of insignificance when it should be out in the open. Your advice at the end of the video is SPOT ON!! From your initial statements I would tend to think that you may be dealing with a form of bipolar disorder. And I believe that you can overcome this but it will take resolute action to recognize that your body is trying to tell your mind something!! But your mind is not in tune to your body's message. To me that message would be that there is an imbalance that can be helped nutritionally. To approach a possible nutritional imbalance I would take on trying to get your neural network charging on all cylinders. This you do by taking a Vitamin B Complex capsule, this do by taking 1 capsule every 8 hours. As you do this learn about nutrition and control the channeling of your energy towards a dietary schedule that will provide daily optimal nutrition . With bipolar disorder, being able to focus your energy and control it in order to prevent excesses in feelings and activity is paramount to finding that balance of harmony in your life. Everybody has ups and downs but extreme ranges are not healthy. So feed your body and get rest and maintain a normal schedule despite how you feel. Pump up your immune system and your neural network so that your body and your mind will find harmony. And perhaps the most important thing I can share is having a sense of purpose. This is a hard discovery to make. Some never do but wander through their lives living out someone else's definitions of what it is all about. But I like to take a statement out of the Bible in Genesis where God has just created this form that would become man. And God breathed into this form and it became a living being. I translate this into the idea that with each birth of a man that that very first breath that the newborn takes is that very first breath that God breathes into that form he has created. And that is what makes you important.

I do notice that sleep is something that needs to be tightly watched. Too much or too little seems to really throw me off. I do according to my counselor, have a great amount of self-control but even then it exhausts a lot of will-power and I am not a machine so things do happen, but I will say I do get some crazy ideas for videos.@***** Brian Wilson is that black bearded closer right?

Thank you for sharing this personal matter. I have to say that I can relate to everything you've said, except for the smashed penis incident lol. But seriously, I am going through a mean spell right now and my wife has hired a divorce lawyer to make matters worse. We've been separated for 2 years now and we were doing good, but I lost my way these past few months and now my life is taking a darker side all I see and feel is misery. I don't like to advertise my feelings on social networks but you struck a common cord. I do need help...

The fact you're admitting you need help is the 1st step. Don't be afraid to make that call just go for it. Can't imagine what divorce feels like, but try to think of it as opening a new chapter in new life. I know it is very difficult, but like I said you are on the right track.
