Yes! It’s crazy how it’s all tied together. I had terrible back and hip pain and had no idea it was correlated with this! I remember noticing three or four days into my surgery recovery that I no longer had hip pain, and putting it together that it must’ve been from all of that pressure down there on the nerve structure.

I had pelvic reconstruction 3 months ago. Everything seems much better now! I sometimes feel like my bladder has slipped down a little but then some days it seems just fine! I guess it takes time. Thanks so much for making these videos!
I’m so glad to hear this! I also worried that I had re-prolapsed for months after my surgery. I think a lot of it was in my head (just fear talking), but some of it was pressure and strange sensations related to recovery. Try to move on with your life, enjoy being symptom free, and know that IF you do re-prolapse, you’ll know, you’ll get help, and you’ll address it then. Live life for now!!
Going through this now. It sucks. I'm stage 3 as well. I also need hysterectomy with it. Next 2 weeks are full of doctors appointments. Sorry you went through this but glad I found your channel
Yes, my surgery cured that pain as well. It was gone nearly immediately after my surgery. Many doctors aren’t educated in pelvic floor nerve structure and how they connect.
I went to a consult with a gynecologist and asked about low back pain. That particular gynecologist answered no, and I'm a level 3. I'm going all the time, and it takes me forever, plus a little incontinence at night. Sometimes, I have severe pressure, and no, I have embarrassing purple spots that the gynecologist said was blood vessel bursts.
@@cateychange9491 many doctors aren’t even aware that there is a correlation between the pelvic floor and hip/back pain, but all of those nerves are connected. A pelvic floor PT, or well versed surgeon could explain it, but I bet your pain would be relieved with surgery to fix your prolapse (unless you have another back injury).
Yes. I did. I attempted two rounds of it, but never got much benefit. It would not have helped or fixed any of my issues. I also intermittently have to do pelvic floor PT now (2 years post prolapse) due to a hypertonic pelvic floor (too tight). It’s the opposite of my issue before, but it’s from surgery scarring and stitching. I’ll tale this new “issue” any day. 🙂

@@personalprolapsestory I wanted to know have you healed completely, I have unfortunately all three pelvic organ prolapses, bladder and rectal stage 2 and uterine stage 3. The doctor is suggesting a hysterectomy. I wanted to know, have you been able to completely recover. I have small kids too with not much help from family/ friends, I am at the moment on my own, I don’t know if I can handle the operation and the after effects on my own. Have you healed completely?
@@MrsGiddydiddy I suggest that you spend some time checking out more of my videos. Specifically, I suggest that you check out my most recent one about considerations before having a hysterectomy. What I had done was a major surgery. Yours likely will be too. It would have been impossible without my husband/family support during my recovery. You should also check out my how to choose a surgeon before you decide on surgery/a surgeon video. Yes. I am completely healed now. But, it’s been 3 years.
@@personalprolapsestory I saw your last video now, i don’t know how will I go through this without help and all the treatment post op seems to be expensive. I don’t know what I am going to do. At the moment my head is just spinning and I am feeling absolutely down and out. My diagnosis is very recent.
