and don't forget the more original Fendt Tool Carriers - look what happened to the last big range ..... and then the MB's and what's left of "Practical" Unimogs. Certainlyu there are many interesting concepts here, but the simple Engineering basics and what Harry Ferguson said and did are being thrwon out the window - or did no one ever draw the curtains after a session on gameboy ? Coffee's boiling!
@@culmalachie indeed, the machines built already in the 1950's by Fendt, Hanomag and Lanz (to name a few of them) with front-, middle- and rearmounted tools/implements that could do 2-3 jobs at the same time should always be an example not to be forgotten. In those days the quick change of implements was also seen as vitally important. It remains to be seen what the future of this Syntrac is going to be, an easy working tool it is for sure.
Let me guess, that quick attach system integrates a hitch, hydraulics, turn and brake lights, all in one component so that the operator stay in the cab and save time.
That's not going to be a cheap repair if you get it slightly wrong while hitching up!! & you would need a fleet of them to justify leaving all the hitch bits on the equipment....
Coupling looks like a Stoubli on injection molding presses. Dirt, debris or minor misalignment and your day is ruined. But, they wont see any dirt, will they?
