I came to this because I watched videos of synchronized swimmers with crazy faces (which is pretty funny). But I must say, I am absolutely in awe, and I can hardly comprehend what they are able to do with their bodies in water. Amazing!
The fake smiles look that way because you are supposed to make it look easy. They look so fake because inside every one of those swimmers is having a panic attack - wouldn't you if you were competing at the world championship and knew just how painful the next five minutes of your life would be when swimming that routine and also knew that messing up could cost them a lot more than an unfortunate score. It would be a real smile but when you're freaking out that much it's difficult.

Yes sinchro swimm is a very hard sport and combine Gymnastic, Ballet and Swiim. I have tried and is really hard at the begining being upside down under the water you get confused and dizzy
With the make-up the water leaves faster from their eyes.. and in synchro is very important not to look like a tired swimmer. With the make-up seems that you aren't tired.
@eugenit well if you want it so bad why dont you do something about it. i want to be in a swim team and do tricks like this so im going to ask my dad about it, im still young so i guess have a chance.
@TheLeilisa Are you serious? I don't think any of swimming styles makes you grow taller. Its just makes you good looking.Because swimming is one of the best exercises for every muscle you have. And moreover, it is healthy. Growth is question of genetics. If you do not plan to break your legs and get taller by surgery operation, you can't do anything with that. Your successful life really doesn't depend on how tall you are. It is about your inner poise and your love you are giving to others.

Please just be careful about some "helpful" pills. In my country we say "small one = cute one". So what, you won't play basketball ! But advantage is you will have more space when travel by plane or bus! And you don't need to look up for some xxl dresses. I am small myself, wasn't happy about it during puberty, but now I am satisfied, I don't care anymore. And believe me, everybody else senses it how you feel and they react due to your condition. My fingers crossed !:-)
looks and the actual thing is soooo different! youre saying if someones been doing gymnastics ever since they wre a kid and they could do a back hand spring making it look easy does it mean that its actually easy? NO! Let's see you stay underwater for like 45 seconds straight trying not to float up and trying to stay in synch with like 7 other different people.
Probably for the comfort of them, When they are thrashing about, and kicking, etc, wedgies probably wouldn't be the best. With the "thong like" backs it makes it so it doesn't ride up as much is my guess.
