I do not understand why Koba thought that this song may not be well received by non Japanese, which is the main reason why it is never played outside of Japan. Its one of their best in my opinion and the transitions, the build up is insane. At 3.48 it feels like speeding to a hundred fifty and shifting into full reverse without breaking the gear box. its been said many many times but Kami band is brutal as fuck.

One of the great mysteries is why this song has never been performed outside of Japan. It's on the Japanese (domestic) only release of the 'Metal Resistance' album. 'From Dusk Till Dawn' is on the international release, and that song has only been performed live once, at the Palladium in Los Angeles in 2017.

I absolutely love this song; it's definitely one of my favourite five. That it wasn't released in Europe actually increases its appeal to me, because I hear it less so it stays new and interesting. But I still have no idea why it's called 'syncopation'. All the key parts are totally on the beat. There's that pause mid-chorus, but that's a delay of the beat; not something happening off beat. There's obviously off beat stuff in the guitar solo, but that's so crazy it doesn't really count. So I'm just baffled about the name. Is there something in the lyrics I'm missing? If you want to hear what syncopation really sounds like, try Scott Joplin's 'Maple leaf rag' and observe the timing difference between the bass notes (beat) and the melody (off beat).
Syncopation is my favorite Babymetal song! It's a shame it was only released on the Japanese version of the Metal Resistance album. The rest of world version got From Dusk Till Dawn, which is a really cool song, but I think Syncopation would have resonated more with western fans. Anyways, great reaction!
I wondered if this would be a compilation as the Tokyo Dome performance is a instant block! Until I read Rick Wagner's comment, i did not realise it had been performed that amount of times. It must be very difficult to perform live. Keeping the Kami Band, Moa, Su and Yui plus the backing tape all in sync must be a headache for the engineers and a tribute to the performers.
Good one - and for once the compilation video didn't detract too much, so that was a bonus. I think Rick Wagner has already said everything I had thought of saying.
Together with Megitsune, this is my favorite song from them. It's just perfect in everything...and SU is just magnificent! Too bad it was only released on the japanese version of Metal Restistance (of course I've got it) and rarely played live.
Yeah, this somehow isn't among my favorites, but I always like it when it comes on. It has many good elements, really don't know why it's not among my favorites, probably because I always have to many of those. :-)
