Really hitting it out of the park with this one, Elektron. I still spend an ungodly amount of time tuning sounds with the digitone, this is just a beautiful mix of digitone and digitakt. Truly making instant classics on a consistent basis, hats off to you and your team
Will someone please get this girl a table that's a little higher up please? My back aches just watching. Otherwise, about as close as I'll get to a machinedrum without paying aftermarket prices. Looks cool!
Since I don't have any of these boxes, this looks great. I was looking at the Digitone, but this is Everything. Now I just have to sell off everything in my Reverb store. lol!
@@toitoitoy what do you even mean? I know she’s nothing like Cenk, they make totally different music, I’m just very glad she’s the one representing Elektron in this matter
They keep doing this, changing the aesthetic within a range. Underlines on the a4 mk2 black. White screen instead of yellow to match its sisters. And smaller syntakt font than its sisters.. Its like how do they get it so well and yet these details make me think there is a bossy idiot in the design team noone stands up to
Really wish they had more info about the synth engines as the other stuff here is all available on their other devices (as welcome as they are for a piece of gear in this price range). Would love a quick rundown of each of the machines rather than an explanation of parameter locks... Still, this looks like a great piece of kit. (edit, also just want to say, Elin's demo sounds fantastic. Great host for the demo.)
You should update the digitakt so the midi tracks can be routed internally, including to the external mixer and effects. Give the external inputs a filter (including a base width filter) and overdrive and bit reduction, too.
@@callmemurphz no it isn’t. It has 12 voices, 4 of which are analogue. As it can play 12 sounds simultaneously, it is a 12 voice polyphonic synthesiser. Generally Elektron devices are 8 voice, so this is a 50% improvement on polyphony.
Can't wait to get one. With this,.. along with my digitakt and digitone,.. I will be able to forget about getting a few other devices I've been planning for.
Mad presentation and rundown from Elin ....was 🔥 Was kinda hoping for a box that was going to be wavetable and granular focused but this does look cool- bit more of an all rounder than I was expecting. Keen to find out the depth of the individual machines and what they have to offer!
'This 'Machine' thing goes way back to the Machinedrum - the Syntakt continues that legacy' - then they put Model:Cycles and Rytm sounds in there. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great product and I love Elektron devices. But I don't see any reason to mention the Machinedrum if the Machines in this device are largely poached from the Model Cycles and Rytm. Let me put it another way - can you imagine how exciting this would have been if they'd instead poached all the Machines from the Machinedrum and the Rytm? Now THAT I would have pre-ordered.
Oh yuss THIS is vut I have been waiting for! The has Cycles already became one of my favorite pieces of kit ever and I have grown tired of the Boutique and Volca stuff. Think I will get an RC505mkii first and wait for the price to come down on the Syntakt/more updates/maybe for b-day/xmas...
I was hoping for a wavetable sampler cross. Something that could handle a combination of synthesis & samples. Not that I’m complaining about something more akin to monomachine/machinedrum hybrid.
