A synthesis method has been described for Iron Pyrophosphate Nanoparticles. You require 40 ml 0.01 M FeCl3, 30 ml 0.01 M sodium pyrophosphate (prepared in 15 ml distilled water + 15 ml ethylene glycol).
And the specific gravity of water is 1 and specific gravity of nanoparticles is around 1.5 or more.Thats why it settle down in water not dispersed in water.

Teflon lined autoclave is different than autoclave used in bio lab for sterilization. Teflon lined autoclave is also known as hydrothermal bomb. It is used for doing reaction at high temperature and high pressure. It uses the autogenous vapor pressure of the solvent used in the synthesis. You can search for how to use this apparatus. If you are doing research then you should be able to calculate the amount based on molarity and volume. The Molarity and volume is given in the description of the video.
