Same here. I have still a double album, The Ultimate Collection Synthesizer Greatest Gold from 1992. I was 11 back then. But it is not the original sound I think.

I had the first 2 Synthesizer Greatest albums on cassette. I know they were covers but pretty close to the originals. Great to hear a mix of all four of the albums here. For those who haven't heard this stuff before, listen to the originals by these amazing pioneers of the synthesizer, so much better.

The synth lead from Kingsley- Popcorn 3 sounds like a triangle wave used with some resonance and a LFO to make that distinctive sound.
