Yeah counting calories is the way but do your own research. Telling us that hes gaining muscle while losing weight is probably not whats happening.. Its bro science
watch greg doucette. you are able to pack on muscle/retain muscle whilst losing weight, but it has to be a gradual drop. When you lose weight very fast you also lose muscle along with the fat, but when you lose weight slowly you can retain and even gain muscle. That being said, bulking is unnecessary if you're a slim person trying to gain mass.

scale says I'm 109 but doctor says I'm 117 (they said that like 2 months ago or 3) I might be around 110 now not sure though. I'm about 5'5 and I'm 15 weighing between 117 pounds or 109. I'll update yall my muscle mass and stuff in a month and tell u what I do (100 push ups a day & 100 situps)
