The North Carolina Tar Heels dominated the 3rd quarter on their way to a 75-51 win over the No. 25 Syracuse Orange. UNC star Alyssa Ustby made history during the game, as she became the first player in UNC women's basketball history to record a triple-double. Ustby finished the game with 16 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 steals in the win. Maria Gakdeng was unstoppable for the Heels, scoring a game-high 22 points on 9-12 shooting.
