I’m getting a hamster soon and am extremely exited!! I’ve been doing nonstop research for months and am finally getting one, I’m really wanting a shorthaired or Rex Syrian!🥰 I’ll update maybe when I get him or her, I’m also getting a very large diy cage, around 500 floorspace, needless to say I can’t wait!

Great video Owly! Very good with all the colours and types, you covered generally most if not almost all, but the more basic colours are for people to look in their ham anyway. After having the hamsters and breeding for certain genetics I don't even have a favourite I love them all and I have seen such beautiful babies come out with all different colourings. Such an amazing thing I miss it sometimes. Great video Owly!

My last syrian was a short haired sable. I got a new little boy in November and we thought he was a short haired black syrian with a little white chin but after a few weeks he surprised us and grew a wee grey skirt. He's definitely changed so much in the 7 weeks I've had him

I think my hamham has the sable coloration. He’s got cream mixed with light and dark brown and it reminded me of a rootbeer float, so I named him Rootbeer!

I have a Banded Syrian,, her colors are Cinnamon and she is so so pretty! Half of her face is orange and the other half is grey,, I love her so much and her eyes are still slight red //shes a baby

My hamster was a Syrian teddy bear hamster or a golden if you will and she was the most wonderful sweet and lovable little girl I've ever known, however my sweet little girl passed away four days ago :'(. Her name was Nubby and I loved her so very much she's dearly missed our hearts are broken without her she brightened up our world so much through her life with us.

I went to a friend's house yesterday, and they had a hamster that was honey and white coloured. Completely normal, then she turned around, and I saw that she had one black eye and one red eye! Never seen that in a hamster, but it was really cool :)

my hamster is greyish white with little blonde patches on his head and near his tail. he has red eyes and black spotted ears. he’s mostly white but i think he might be mink because he’s still a baby and he might get darker as he grows up. any other ideas?
