The SYSCID project aims to develop a systems medicine approach for predictions in chronic inflammatory diseases (CID). The overall goal is to create a prediction framework for disease outcome to guide therapy decisions on an individual patient level enabling the choice of the right therapy at the right time.
In this interview series, SYSCID team members talk about their involvement in the project and major achievements. They also share with us what’s been challenging, but also the most exciting about the past five years.
"All of the techniques that we use for the study of immune-mediated disease, we've been able to apply to the analysis of COVID-19,” says SYSCID partner Paul Lyons from University of Cambridge.
SYSCID has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 733100.
