Here it is! This was done during Covid as a collaboration. All three of the gals were at their home Studios. Halocene was in Arizona, Lauren was in Toronto, Canada, and Violet was in Brazil. They coordinated this over Skype and recorded their own parts individually, and sent them to Halocene so that Brad could produce this. They did not even meet in person until well after this had been released .

Click and an instant like. To put in another request...this whole collection got together and covered THEE classic emo song. "Welcome To The Black Parade" and it is just as epic of a cover as this one. Which is saying something. Lauren's band, Red Handed Denial, also does a KILLER cover of "Dirty Diana"

I'm also 7th who watches and 3rd who likes Your reaction to this cover. 😉I might give You some fun facts: They haven't met in person yet, when creating this banger of cover. They knew about each other for some time, Halocene made first collab with Violet Orlandi in "I Hate Everything About You" and with Lauren Babic they made "I'm So Sick". The drummer is Joe and guitarist is Brad- he's also Addie's lovely husband. ❤If You want You can check out "Toxicity" with the same squad as in this video. 😃Great reaction!

02:33 Before I get into the full reaction; I love that you're unfamiliar with this song. When SOAD came out they were unlike anything that ever came before and very many (perhaps most) of their fans are SUPER precious about this song. I can't wait to see what you think of it having no ties. It's weird. Lauren Babic asked "why is it good" in a separate video they ladies made a year later. Cheers from the US Pacific Northwest!

I'd definitely recommend checking out their other SOAD covers "Toxicity" and "Aerials". They somehow progressively get better believe it or not.

Ok, you asked for recs so, since you know the Halocene and the rest of the HCU, have you listened to Leo Morachiolli? Frof Leap Studios - if you want some thing close to home, his (feat Rabea and Hannah) metal cover of Dance Monkey by Tones and I is bonkers. He and Violet did a cover of Roxette's "Listen to Your Heart," also.
