I think it would be the SOAD song she'd like most. Or rather, would have the greatest chance of her liking at all. She made some actual reactions in this one, though. Funny stuff.
@@rijaddizdarevic7411 100%. Not every single song they made are political. They like to just have fun with the music too but when they have a message they want out they definitely aren't going to back down from it.
Viscinity of obscenity “is there a perfect way of holding you baby” is about how now matter what they say or do it’s scrutinised because they are famous
I remember hearing about how kids in the middle east cherish cloudy days which are very rare and how it's the most free time they get to play outside. At first I figured it was to do with the shade but then one of the kids is quoted as saying it's the only time their parents feel safe enough to let them out because the bad things (drones) in the sky can't see them. Kind of put's this song onto another level blowing up the sunshine etc. It's really sad that any kid in this world would have to live in that reality.
Your daughter is lovely. Her straight faced reactions remind me of myself trying to introduce music to the kids. My inside voice always repeats "WHY ARE YOU NOT SUPER JACKED ABOUT THIS MAJORLY KILLER SONG?"
OMG! I love BYOB! Finally!!! EDIT: Hold on! I just noticed that the song is "bipped" for real in the phrase "Where the F-word are you"???? I'm in Italy and it's not cutted off!
I love SOAD! favorite band since middle school. All of the band members do a great job of displaying the point they want to get across. There's a ton of SOAD that can be reacted to. Even if you aren't into politics (i'm not) the music rocks. More SOAD please :P
« No, I can’t understand him » 😂 Look girl, I was maybe 2 years older than you are right now, English isn’t even my first language, but I still understood most of the lyrics on first listen... just pay attention hahaha
SOAD are so unique there is just nothing like them out there, love the band! I guess its not for young girls but maybe it will grow on her :D her face was priceless xD
@@henrikeatworld Its literally in the lyrics and it doesn't take that long to figure it out when you apply some critical thinking. At 14 i knew what it was about lmao.
I've binge watched 10 of your videos straight starting with the Queen - Live Aid video. This is so entertaining watching your kids react to these different genres of great music. Keep up the good work!
Lol this song reminds me of high school that's when it came out for me. We'd have bonfires and this song played ALOT. You should definitely play Fortunate Son for her I want to see that. Great song
I think the song that would probably appeal most to Annie from SOAD would by Hypnotize -- also one of my favorite songs from them and one that definitely got me to check out more of SOAD's discography (that and the song Chop Suey).
@@asnahusaini7272 yeah I know but him being the first vocal of the song creates more of a shock factor because she wouldn't have known what to except vocal wise.
There was a length of time on my radio station, where they played this without edits. There is a Disturbed song that is still un-edited (possibly due to most people being unable to make it out). I forgot that a lot of music video channels (official) edit their videos for RU-vid.
Still love this song. I remember watching SNL just to catch SOAD as their guest band and Daron dropping the F-bomb on live TV. He wasn't subtle in it either... soooo good
Hahahahaha her reaction is priceless... Millenials are really something else. Great song, one of their best. PD: Maybe "Toxicity" was a better option to start...
remember going to a SOAD concert making sure to stand in safe distance from the stage. Show starts, first song prison song, 20 seconds in and I understand I am still at least 10 rows too close to the stage, felt like one of those great battles in Lord of the rings
Awesome song, don't know if you take requests this way but from an old guy who saw U2 tour their first album Boy,try them performing Electric co,in Paris 2015
Great vid but there are SO many better System of a Down songs that would have been a better intro to the band eg. ANYTHING from the first two albums would have been better.
The look on Annie's face at around 9 minutes was priceless. It took me a few listens to get into this song, maybe she might sometime in the future. Chop Suey would probably have been a bit better.
You have to watch from 6:54 and watch Annies face just go WTF is happening till about 7:06 lol. Do lots more SOAD they are just bloody great! Amazing when I was younger and they just came out of no where blowing every ones minds to pieces!!!
I could correlate this song with RATM, when he's screaming WAKE UP! WAKE UP! The weirdness of SOAD is a way of getting attention. Saying Hey! Listen! We've got something important to say! They're trying so hard to get their message across. Love this song!
Hello doggie under or behind the table ! :) The Royal Airforce pilots had a nice nick name for the nuclear bomb, "A Bucket Of Instant Sunshine". Why they always send the poor... interestingly the CCR song "Fortunate Son" is also right about that as well.
SOAD is one of my absolute favourite bands ever. Would love to see you guys react to Aerials, Hypnotyze, Lonely Day, or even Chop Suey. I think Annie would like these better.
I clearly like the dad's music taste and he is trying so hard to make his daughter like it... feels just like me :-D. And I'd totally lose to her in poker...
Love this song! Crazy song but great idea behind it! Love her facial expressions during this song. 😂 You really need to do more system of a down with her. :) Frank Turner - The Road!!!! 😁
Maybe Lonely Day would be a good one if she liked the softer parts. But Aerials is for sure the best option to capture there style and not be overwhelming with the manic energy a lot of there songs have. Love SOAD, been listening to them since the first time Sugar was premiered on MTV, you know back when they played music.
I almost wish I didn't listen to these songs around my kid while he was growing up so I could do this with him... But alas, all music was/is played in my house
"I liked the softer parts but then they ruined it when they went back to the screaming" Yeahhhh, I wanna see your reactions to Demolisher by Slaughter to Prevail. Definitely not either of your cups of tea, but a good video maybe 😂😂
- It's OK man. I think you have to give her time. It is admirable that she has such a close father to so much music, but at the same time I also believe that she is part of an identity process in her personality. The generations of this century adapted to musical genres of the popular industry, very different from those that we are used to, as it was with the previous generations and successively. When she redefines herself and discovers herself over time, perhaps she will return to all this music that she had the opportunity to enjoy (or not) with her father. Saludos / greetings! .
I like how you're struggling to get Annie to the song, but she doesn't, seem to care at all. Both your reactions are unique and real, that's why I like yours. Most out there are wowing in every song they react. This can't be real. Keep it up.
When I first heard BYOB, I hated it. I liked other SOAD songs but this one I hated the first times I listened it. (just like IEAIAIO). But I think my mind learned how to appreciate SOAD and these are one of my favorite from them now, and SOAD is probably my top 5 bands right now
She needs to understand that scream or voice distortion is an important part of any Metal song. It essentially emphasizes the question raised by the song writers against society, political parties etc. Whereas soft part of the song refers the dark side, dilemma or sometimes sarcasm. Chord bending, distortion paddle, fast guitar riffs and power chords are also important in mental songs since these refer the dual version of lyrics in the music.
At 14 when it came out I was confused by it. I liked it about 5-10 years later. She’s just needs the right song or band to peak her interest then it’ll all connect
‘Lonely Day’ could very well be Annie’s favorite SOAD song. Contrasted with BYOB would be quite funny too in regards to explaining to her it’s the same band.
iam 32.I have been listening to this band since I was 12 - 15 years old. now at the age of 32 i understand what it's about .... the world is a little less teeny funny joke right now.
