It’s incredible how every kind of musician seems to agree on System of a Down, so many covers coming in all kind of tones and arrangements! truly great tracks, long live these records
I love when orchestras perform heavy metal Edit: to all the people who are saying that it's not heavy metal, it's my mistake. I was still a noobie who didn't know the different genres of metal.
İ could agree with the people that say theyre not heavy metal i guess but im just saying, if you look up soad, it says theyre a heavy metal band in their bio. Source: systemofadown.com
Alan Aguina I’m a guitar player and I’ve played bass once with a band in a talent show, it’s a pretty amazing instrument. I wrote that comment as a joke
Somehow this version sounds so menacing even without the vocals and the intense drums of the original, simply due to the epic layers of sound produced by the entire orchestra and band! Well done!
Not at all lol. Deadmau5, Pretty Lights, Bonobo to name a few modern producers who have worked with orchestras to turn their music into orchestral masterpieces.....
@@hammyt88 I wasn't limiting it to just this song or just this genre brother, my argument was purely along the lines of not many are able to be this impressive. I actually agree that some of the pieces made by the artists you mentioned can be done just as amazingly because I've listened to their work and it's GREAT. Edit: Just wanted to add that although you mentioned great artists who could achieve this the sad truth is the vast majority couldn't.
I totally thought so too! I’m actually writing a series of books and thought this went very well with one of my chapters. Take a read if you’d like to. It’s under a very incomplete novel called Sundering, it’s the very first chapter. Hope you enjoy if you end up reading! my.w.tt/QQOF5poEtQ
Hearing music genres in different forms is great. Just shows you that rock and metal music can sound great with classical instruments. Same goes when you hear classical arrangements done in rock or metal.

I would say when orchestra does covers like this, it becomes more of a softer sound like butter, it looses the rough harsher sound that the guitars and basses and snares create. I enjoyed this very much though! Great job!
