Bad parents story time, Family was getting ready for dinner, SOAD blasting the song " Question " When my(at the time) 7 year old bursts into the kitchen, and says,, MOMMY! You know that song they have? I like that song where he says, (she sang it note for note pitch perfect btw😊) ,,, you know that song? He says CHUBBY CHICKS INSIDE OF ME!? I LOVE that song!!! Never been so proud and embarrassed at the same time, but it was fkn hilarious, 😂

I enjoy this song. The band seems to be critical of normalizing extreme sexual acts that can commonly be seen in advertising and in media in general. Unfortunately, this song is, in itself, normalizing these things. Now, we're singing about these things with big smiles on your faces. For this reason, I don't think I would listen to this song often. Despite the unpleasant subject matter (my humble opinion), the clever hooks and constant change-ups in rythmns are FIRE! I love this band. Very talented musicians. Socially conscious. They always make you think.

This and Radio/Go are some of my guilty pleasure songs by SOAD! Just super fun songs!

I think it’ll be another Al Stewart moment for ya because you guys love the melodic, flowing songs with great lyrics. “Fields of Grey” or Every Little Kiss” are great starters.

Nick, even if I don’t always agree with you, I do always enjoy your detailed reviews. And you HAVE managed to change my mind about some songs that I hated before listening to your review. Even though I think the message of this song is even more valid today than it was when it was released, I still need to enjoy listening to the song. And I don’t enjoy listening to this one. I feel like they’re beating me over the head with a bat to make me stop and think about the violence that we’re subjected to in our every day lives. I’m not a SOAD fan and this song, or your eloquent analysis, haven’t changed my mind about them. But I appreciate the channel’s effort to showcase all genres of music for us (even though you almost lost me with Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears 😊).

Can't say it is something I would search out. Still, I always appreciate different tunes and styles. Think about it, there are 7 major keys and 26 letters. I will respect most music,. Writing a piece of music is not an easy task. You fill a void for someone.

First, gotta love the people who say…Oh I can’t believe the words and the violent lyrics. What world are you from? What do you think Rock and Metal is? Go back to Veggietales and stay there. You know what your gonna get with music if you know music. I like them…not a massive die hard fan…but saw them live several times and they are fantastic! Obviously they are doing something correct with that many people following them and albums sold. No…they aren’t the wannabe rap/hip hop that is considered music in this time period of shit. Thank God for that! You needed talent up until 2010 forward. Now you need fake music and people yelling bitches and hoes…now that’s some deep thinking there!
