This is a regular house that I installed a fire alarm system in. It was first a demonstration system only covering a couple rooms upstairs but was recently expanded to downstairs. It still doesn't cover all rooms of the house(because of my mother), but it covers most.
The only thing more obnoxious than a bunch of horns on slow whoop, is a bunch of horns on siren lol! Does make for a pretty unique sound when they’re being coded tho
A Kidde SM120X Relay module is interconnected to the smokes and the N.O contacts of it are attached to a Simplex IAM configured as a fire monitor zone. You can set it up this way, but instead use a Fire-Lite MMF.
Probably not, because the 18AWG wire I'm using is not rated for them. The amperage of them alone would melt the wires, and since they're encased in PVC, that's just a house fire waiting to happen. The wire is sufficient for low voltage and amperage, and that's what I intended.
@@ToothlessTheCreepydragon9 Code 3 makes them sound like a whoop, sure, doesn't change the fact that they're technically set on the siren tone, the whoop tone sounds different.
