I have been continuously thinking that the whole video excluding the first, may be, ten minutes. And for those ten minutes, I didn't even realise that he had been holding the phone. This guy has some serious dedication to whatever he is doing.
Sam, I have followed you for years. I've bought several of your programs, and I just keep growing mentally and financially. The information you offer is truly great. I can't thank you enough. Everything you say truly resignates with me and helps me see things from a different perspective. And that is what I need to continually evolve and improve.
@@MetzgerNick i just found this vidio mont ago i think.n i learn n i aply it to myself.n i found wat i want to do in life.thnks to this sam ovens video's.it makes my eyes open.
I Just want to say a big THANK YOU! for taking the time to do this video. I am a chartered accountant and you have caused a paradigm shift for me from a component thinker to a systems thinker. Once again thank you.
This video needs to be heard more in 2024: where everything is a silo & each creator sells you on the 'best' and 'top' ways that is guaranteed to change your life (true to an extent) but failed to mention in 'time'. Instead of marketing their solutions as a set of simple rules that emerges results. Also a reminder to consumers that every opportunity is bound to be disrupted by the market that is why the factor of applying NOW is also crucial.
Great video. Sam, I really respect your approach to entrepreneurship and business. Not only do I get a lot of technical knowledge from your FREE content, I also get INSPIRED - believe it or not, I was following you from the very beginning, and even then, something stood out about you. Thanks for continuing to make these videos - it's incredibly generous
Sam I am Sergio from Italy, I used to work in Manhattan more than 20 years ago. I've started to watch your Videos and I just agree with everything you say. Your Videos they, blunt honest, are helping me to be more aware of the mistakes I have made in the past and I will change things I am doing thanks to you. So I will continue watching them, because you have the capability to sum up things and when I will be ready probably I'll take your Course. Thank You again for posting. Ciao.
Hey whatsup Sam, first I want to say thank you for sharing all of the knowledge you do. Of course you want to promote your business, but a lot of the tools you give away I can tell come from a place of wanting to help others. Something about the way that you speak and even your facial expressions truly give me the impression that you want to help people, even though you don't have to. Eventually I will go ahead and probably sign up for your courses, just from your videos here on RU-vid man you seriously have helped motivate and inspire me. Half the time I swear you're speaking directly to me. Anyway I just wanted to show my gratitude brother, don't worry about the asshole/trolls that comment on some of the videos haha., there are some that really appreciate you dude. God bless
Same here. Only signed up because I thought I HAD TO PAY Sam for the value I was getting from his youtube. 15 days after Implementing the first couple of lessons on his advanced program, I was able to bank 24k from 8 clients. I really suggest ANYONE do his course. Absolutely mind blowing how easy it is to provide value to people while charging them a fair amount in exchange. Have a nice day :)
What the hell is going on??? :D I got addicted to your clips. So much value :) And the way it is done- no FX, fancy editing, supermodels or sportscars. Just value.
Sam you’re such a smart, insightful and competent man and I absolutely adore and appreciate how you’re real and humble enough to admit where you were off with your perceptions in the past. I’ve just recently come across your channel and I’ve been watching your videos every single day since. I’ve been an avid self learner for years and I’ve come across thousands of hours of information, your info and the way you educate is of the top 10%. Looking forward to working with you.
I usually think in systems which is a reflection of my training as an engineer. However, watching your video has reminded me that I need to apply this thinking more often until I naturally look at life that way. This is a methodology which should be taught in schools.
Thank you, Sam, for offering this video and consequently expanding my view of systems thinking to include my upcoming business. I have observed the interconnectedness in society and in nature for a number of years and delight myself with a fresh perspective of my consulting services to be the same. I appreciate your contribution to our "whole" on this planet!
This is phenomenal. I honestly hand on heart can say you are the ONLY person sam who has provided knowledge in this DETAIL. Thanks man, I wish you good health. This is gonna help me massively. I was stuck in patterns, couldn't find any people that had this much clarity
This is great thanks Sam. I am intrigued by how system thinking can be applied to storytelling within content marketing - how understanding a macro-narrative on a particular subject or industry, during a particular point of time, gives us the acumen on how we can best position our micro-narrative, which resonates powerfully with audiences as it links them to the bigger picture, the emerging patterns of innovation... collective feelings.... the macro journey, as opposed to our isolated business story or singular piece of content.
Excellent stuff Sam, these videos are a fantastic resource. It would be great if you made a video on your personal philosophy! I think that your insights are remarkable, and it would be helpful to see you break it all down to a general worldview! :)
You're a legend, I'm trying to revolutionize the factory I currently work at by showing my boss knowledgeable videos I find on the internet that I think would be beneficial. I live by the philosophy that knowledge is power, with great power comes great responsibility, and with great responsibility comes an ability to do something, and a response to that ability. You're a great man for not only finding so many keys to success and being so driven, but for sharing your knowledge with people hoping that just one person will hear what you say for the value it has and use it to it's full potential. You can rest easy.
You are absolutely brilliant. One downside though is your genius doesn't allow you to understand that you need someone to shoot your vids. We do love your stuff though...keep it coming!
I will never be a consultant, but your content is pure gold. I don't know why there's so many motivational gurus and only so few that talk about advanced stuff like this. I've been sick for the past few days and just binge-watched your stuff. Simply because my financial goals are very similar to where you're at at age 28. Will there ever be a program for non-consultants and business in general? I'll sign up immediately.
Why do you need a 'program'? Everything you need to build any kind of business is right there in front of you, it is a question of applying different resources to what you want to achieve. If you lack practical skills, you can overcome this by hiring people who can do what you need. Having a clear idea of what you want to do is the vital part, being vague and general is what holds you back.
Because a 'program' would save me time in having to find all the resources over the internet. Simply cuts the learning curve. Sure you can do it without one, but I don't have time to do all this research and test different stuff that's out there or free. Most of it is BS anyways.
Collective Ambition i watched his videos from his course and i thought it as whole. You don't have to become consultant. Because basically what a beginner consultant does is solve a problem of specific niche in a "done for you" system. So think about it. For example you want to help technicians get highly paying clients. In his course he teaches how to get the specific "need or desire" which is the highly paying clients. So imagine yourself are a technician and learned how to get highly paying clients. You solved your problem by his program. You don't have to be a consultant
Sam Ovens God bless you sir🤝.... your a true GENIUS and If God's willing I will make my dream come true... which is to meet you... I will do ANYTHING for that to happen..🙋🏽♂️
One of the things you mention is that you were a system thinker all your life. I think your video can lead to another one (don't know if you made it already) about habits. Some people can start using the system thinking from one day to another. Maybe another one hasn't stopped a single moment in their life to think "Well, why does something work like that? What is the output of that thing". Using a simple example if someone tries to lose weight (Input), we will tend to think that if that person actually goes to the gym, eat better, sleep more, they will get fit. But why and how can someone goes thru this process in a easier manner than others? And if someone hasn't had the habit of thinking that way, how can they do it? Great video, Sam.
Sam the king. Just your videos here on RU-vid is phenomenal, I am so inspired by all the content you share with us. Have been accelerating my business thanks to you
Well man I love your thinking really inspiring to watch and learn I’m coming to meet you as soon as man. I’m deffo interested in the science, world views of this interconnected. And learning then train :)
Sam's videos are helping me evolve and get ready for next step. I am a successful professional with well paid job but always wanted to be an entrepreneur. I am hoping sometime in the near future I will enroll in Sam's training program.
You are refreshing and very stable in your influence upon us. And you also give the basic, essential and fundamental knowledge upon which all other things are built. I can see clearly now that I cannot see and need to fix that aspect of my sight.
Hi Sam, great. Nice cat in the background. Is it a "Holy Birma" ? We have two of them. Nice animals, you can learn a lot of them. Best regards Kristian
💖 No freakin' inFLUencer-style SHAKY VID EFX, NO FLUFF - just straight to the point! 💖 Watching you Sam, is like watching a bril classic car from the 70's, 80's. IT IS QUALITY! 👏👍
This guys is gold. I wish I found him 10 years ago. I have learned everything the hard way - But would probably still get on his course for the other stuff.
I wish I had known him 5 years ago when you knew him. Which complements the popular statement: "The best time to start was yesterday and the next best time is now." As such I am grateful for seeing this video today.
your stuff is so cool Sam. Everything you are presenting us has so much content and value. I love what you do it is simply great just wanted to say it it needs to be said cause it is true. X-Ray analysis capability like no one it is unique
I have been practicing how to think more critical and this video happens to provide me with a broader perspective of things. Towards the end of this video I recognize one of friends who was indeed great at system thinking. Thanks for your input !
Absolutely smashing it Mr Ovens as always! My primary goal is to make it meet you this year! Have a great day, enjoy your weekend after your well deserved holidays! Speak to you soon! (well, that is the plan) :) Greg
Very good Sam! I like your way of analytical thinking. And that you have belief in yourself. I always listen very closely to your videos even though they are this long. Too bad you have moved though! My ultimate goal was to come to a mastermindweekends in New York! 😃
Thank you for this video, it learned me and reminded me of how I intuitively work in my business, it helps me to see clear and to develop it more and more.
What's a good read on this kind of mindset thinking? I've kinda always thought this way without really being aware of it, but articulating it like this puts things into perspective.
Thank you Sam, this video is super valuable. Because systems thinking is a loop I also think of it as being reverse engineered, what I mean by this is I ask myself: What are the final outcomes desired for the business and how can I develop processes to achieve these desired outcomes and what do I need to input in my business in order for these processes to work in the first place and thus achieve these desired outcomes! Haha :)
Hi Sam, I'm not an entrepreneur or have a business. Just have a normal job but I loved how this video contains principle for me as an individual e.g. health or happiness. Also it make me think and inspires me to think of doing something different and to create something. Thank you for the value👍
Well, again you give the info none of us knew we wanted! This was the last piece of the puzzle after watching your free training. Next stop accelerator from cash generated after watching your videos.
Sam, great video. You say you increased landing page conversion rate from 18% to 40% but the second-order effect was worse sales. I'm really curious, could you explain the reason?
Great video as always. Systems thinking I'd most definitely the way to go. Especially with your mental processes. It didn't matter if it's the media your cells your mind. It the universe they are all systems which operate within an environment. As you stated before outsiders always win... I'm in the field of holistic and science .. Yet I'm now growing a jewelry and technology brand which promotes greater health awareness. Thanks again Bro
(first sorry for my english I'm french...) Well I love your content in general , but THIS VIDEO , you just open up my eyes ! I alway been a system thinker for my health , I see the nature as a system , but I wasn't acting as a system thinker in my business. I was only focus on the "big domino" ( the 20/80 of the 20/80) Now I realize than some part of my business will become more important whit time and become a new (20/80) of my next step . I was focussing to get more visit one my webinar, but now I undersand than getting better quality of trafic ( people not the source of traffic) will impact more my business . My inpout need to be better if y want a better outpout
at around 19:45 when you start talkinga about dancing Sam it's so true. Look up Sasquatch dance party (it's a music festival). It starts with one guy dancing and then hundreds of people join near the end.
Great video, Sam. If you havent' already, a fantastic read is Stepping in Wholes (Introduction to complex systems) by Olhoff and Walcheski . Cover is an ocean. It's a great read and can be accomplished easliy in a couple of hours.
In your program are you asking folks to find out what kind of entrepreneur they wish to become and then assist them with that? I am really not sure what kind of entrepreneur I wish to become.
Top stuff thanks - I've always been a more of a systems thinker - Maybe do a video on how you get your message across to non systems thinkers in your organization , i.e how to manage/motivate a non systems thinker ( This has been my struggle ), they tend to think we crazy as they don't see the bigger picture
