Syvecs Stand Alone ECU for the GR Corolla  

Nice, I have one in my GR Yaris. It also uses the dash module. You must use it! No bullshit drive assist or lights, just start and go. Doesn’t matter about digital dash or analogue, you must run the dash module. The module sorts all the can traffic for functions that are no longer valid like radar / lane keeping etc. Get a 100hz GPS/and 4WD controller and you’re set. Gps speed based launch, and launching with rear bias plus flat shifting is super awesome. I run flex with sensor through old MAF wires. i also run a syvecs dash through one of the spare can bus. I run 650cc secondaries and more split. Don’t bother with relative FP fuel comp, just run the LP pump against internal regulator. Careful with boost. Stock use 300hz solenoid, it’s very sensitive to duty, it’s vacuum system like bmw N54. Syvecs stock map will oscillate boost so you need to tune WG closed loop. I run 26psi on stock turbo. Get the knock and gear cut / launch dialled in with flat shift and it’s pure WRC shit. These ECU are the best money can buy….it takes a long time to understand all the features.

I had read that the GR Corolla had revised valve springs and valve float was no longer going to be an issue but from your testing it sounds like it is definitely still an issue.

Were the pops tuned in or is that just normal with the syvecs, DP, and exhaust setup?
