Great video! She said on her IG the blood stands for divine feminine energy. Chaos, rebirth and creation. Babies are brought into this world with blood of the feminine (their mother). She song is about loving someone that isn’t available to love and then having the strength to move on from the situation and starting anew. She usually ties in all of her music so I’m sure it’s connected throughout the songs and any other videos she comes out with for the album.

I heard she damaged her vocal cords, so I think she was covered in “blood” because it was like she was rebirth back into the world. But I’m glad she’s back, I was crying when I first watched this. She deserves all the love and support she can get, since she was really nervous about this.
