I don’t agree! If you’re promoting a song as part of a movie, there has to be something in the video that connects to that movie so people know it’s not JUST another music video. That it’s a music video to promote a movie. The one he did for the first movie was better as it connected the music video and the movie together. I wouldn’t even have known this music video/song was for the Trolls sequel if I didn’t do some research on the movie beforehand.

I get how this could be seen as a throwback to early 2000s nu-disco (eg JT's first album, some of the electronic dance music of the time, etc) but this whole style is undeniably a throwback to 70s Disco...not so much 2000s music. I also got the feeling that she sings more and that this is her song featuring Justin, because she sings the first verse, and even a little part of the second verse, AND I thought it sounded like she was singing the chorus. But actually, Justin is singing more than you notice. The chorus is a mix of both their voices, but because they are singing so bright it sounds more like a girl's voice, and you almost assume it's multiple recordings of SZA:s voice being stacked over themselves again and again. Justin obviously sings most of the second verse, and he also provides most of the bakground singing in the song, the "choir-moments" where he sings multiple notes with his voice and stacks them at the same time to make like a chord with his voice. If you couldn't tell, I don't know english very well, especially not when it comes to musical terms... please educate me, lol.. But yeah, his voice is all over the song in different forms, even though he doesn't have much singing on his own in the spotlight. She is the center of attention. I think that's kind of weird, because this sounds and looks way more like a Justin Timberlake song than a SZA song, but whatever..
