I love SZA so much! Her music has truly changed my life and she’s so real

Also what she said about being a nice girl at her core but having to abandon that because it’s not a safe world out there for pure hearted vulnerable people, but knowing that she needs to integrate her protective shadow self with her light is EXACTLY my experience. It’s a Scorpio thing, it’s like that for most of us with a lot of Scorpio energy. Being nice isn’t lame, this world is not made for people like us. It should be safe for us to be naïve, but for as long as there are people who don’t move with integrity and are irresponsible with how they treat others and violate them instead, we cannot be naïve. We are innately as souls meant to be naïve because it is the purest, innocent energy, but Earth is ghetto. There’s ego and bad things, bad people and people who refuse to be and do better as they are obligated to. I get what she means about her mom making her feel like she’s not strong because she never really stood up for herself or put up a tough guard despite others always doing her wrong, but being non-reactive isn’t to be confused with weakness. Kindness is not weakness. Like I said, people take advantage of hearts like that and mistreat people and they are to blame, not the person who has the heart... We shouldn’t have to change because people don’t know how to act, hold them accountable to show up the way they should. This world isn’t made for us. But that being said, learning to have to adapt to this world by becoming combative or bringing that side you have within out is also a very powerful, necessary, strong, and beautiful thing that people shame. So just be you. I have always seen in life that people want you to keep the peace and accept things as they are because they don’t want to be inconvenienced and then they have the audacity to be mad at you and sh!t on you for shaking things up where it’s necessary to. My spirit isn’t here to accept bs, it’s here to destroy for the better world that needs to exist. I’ll never be a conformist, and I don’t even call that rebelling. Rebel against means to fight for something, so it’s like fighting our own right to sovereignty when sovereignty is our birthright?? It’s not something that should have to be fought for if it’s already ours. So it’s actually the conforming majority are the ones rebelling against themselves for a world that wants us to go against our inherent order.. I must say though that after so much betrayal, I‘ve accepted that I can never be fully safe to be myself with the world until the world changes, so it’s invoked a side of me that’s here to stay and I put the old version of me to rest. She’s there, but she’s just not showing up for anyone other than those I can fully trust and be vulnerable around. I refuse to blame myself, because I know I’m not the problem, and it’s devastating that people need to do what I do. It’s exhausting and draining like why can’t I just be calm why do people HAVE to be toxic and trifling where I have to go beast mode just to defend and protect myself in like any interaction. I don’t want to. Like it doesn’t even have to be a matter of setting better boundaries like people literally can’t go without violating you and your “easy to talk to friendliness” in even the most casual conversations and everyday exchanges... They HAVE to push you. I also think people with energy like mine tend to attract mostly energy vampires cuz it’s juice for them, so that’s unfortunate. As a woman, I carry predominantly feminine energy, but all my life, I’ve had to operate in my masculine energy and it really sucks for women because this is “a man’s world” that we’re expected to adapt to and navigate, which requires us to abandon our feminine energy and make it take a backseat against our will. Then she went on to say that you’re designed to be a certain way by the cosmos for a reason, to process and respond to this world in the way you’re uniquely meant to, and that the Universe doesn’t put something in your spirit for no reason, and that is the EXACT truth. It’s not only what helps us navigate this plane of existence with the souls that we have, it is also of benefit to the world with what you bring as that unique individual. Because the world needs what we provide as like a unique code that we individually bring that’s missing from the world.

I so so so happy that after years of hiding about her plastic surgery she’s finally being open, a lot of young girls are finally seeing that these surgeries are not a quick fix and have real complications. Excited to see SZA talk more about this, as a fan from abt 2013 it’s been jarring seeing her morph into a different person and essentially be gaslit by the new fans who just don’t know.

bruh. where are doctors like her for women's health!??!?!? every doctor i've had has been extremely dismissive and make me out to be crazy when i know something is up! one of them even put that i have "generalized anxiety disorder" just because i went to the doctor after a few years and had some concerns!! she had the audacity to judge me and label me as like a hypochondriac or something. i had it removed because i told them about my experience with her. then my blood results come back and she looked mad stupid then sending me for multiple tests so late!! i WISH they were about being preventative and "just in case you never know can never be too safe it wouldn't hurt to check better to check" instead of them being like "i'm not worried it's probably nothing"!!!!!!!!! omg and DON'T even get me STARTED on the ob/gyn i had!!! it was a TRAUMATIC experience, super unprofessional, inconsiderate, uncaring, i even fainted and they didn't care and took their time to bring me water..

I enjoyed this. I wish more celebrities would open up and talk about their health issues.

Great interview also @SZA definitely get in agriculture! I always enjoy any of SZA’s longer interviews because I end them feeling very introspective and enlightened. I’ve also been avoiding the doctors for a long while just because of past doctor trauma (also not having health insurance currently 😢) and in my 24 years have never even been to a gynecologist but this inspired me to start taking some step towards preventative care 🫶🏽
