I love how slow the music was for The Crystal Fountain Fairy , very eloquent and precise Enchanted Garden Fairy are twins and beautifully presented.. Woodland Glade Fairy did that and Fairyof Songbirds was awesome
I really enjoyed this performance of Sleeping Beauty; the overall production is very good. Lilac Fairy is danced by Nicoletta Manni, but could someone please list the dancers for the other fairies, including the precious stones/jewels? Thank you.
May be you are right. A lot of dancers take Marius Petipa's ballets and the believe they can do better. But Petipa was an architect. Perfect. I think that Nureyev was a versionist of Petipa. May be the best is Cinderella, because he had a different sight of the situation. Even some people doesn't like it.
@@LilianaCoutoBallet Marius Petipa was also a ballet dancer, and only later became a choreographer, this is a normal path in ballet art. Nobody knows what Petipa staged. He left no descriptions of his ballets. His memoirs are about anything but choreography. XX century productions that are attributed to Petipa were staged by his assistants. And, of course, Petipa did not have male variations, he did not stage them at all, he did not have suitable male dancers for this in Russia. How is Nureyev, for example, worse than Ivanov and Vainonen, who staged Petipa's ballets "based on Petipa's motives", which he always and clearly mentioned in the posters? Surely, Petipa at his beginning also imitated someone else and borrowed from someone else...
