We flew over to Norway to run their extra day parkrun which was Labour Day, Monday 1st May. Norway has 7 parkruns and we wanted to check out as many of them as we could so we flew out early so we could run on Saturday too.
The plan was to fly to Oslo, run Tøyen parkrun on Saturday and then get the train to Norway's second capital Bergen. The train journey is meant to be reason to visit in itself as it is ranked as one of the World's Most Scenic Train Journeys. In Bergen we planned to run Løvstien parkrun on Labour Day Monday.
I hope you enjoy this video of some parkrun tourism a bit further afield. Oslo is an amazing place and I had a lot of fun making this video. It was a pleasure to run at Tøyen parkrun, the home of parkrun Norway!
