I travelled from Istanbul to Konya on TCDD high speed train, October 2022. Expecting 300 to 350 KM per hour, but the coach never exceed 150 KM per hour. We continue our train experience from Konya to Adana on board national train. Anyway it was an exciting 12 days in Turkiye.
That is because while the trains themselves are capable of high speed the railways(?) arent as they arent new and belong to the old system,and theres also lots of stops i think.Hopefully they will be upgraded
