I found this band because of a game called Smite: battleground of the Gods. You play as a God and I was going through RU-vid trying to find a song to match each god and I when I got to the God Tyr, this is the song I picked to check out. Best decision I made.
This is the most bizarrely awesome things I've ever seen. The rows of suburban looking ladies singing "I will decimate, and decapitate" had me rolling on the floor lol
Why am I just now discovering Týr? I've been listening to metal for quite a while, and just when I think I've heard it all, something like this comes along and shows there's still so much more creativity and passion out there. Keep rockin' guys!
I remember seeing Týr Live for the first time @ FortaRock (Netherlands) in 2018. When this song was announced (or even before) some inflatable swords went into the air by fans. Since then I'm a fan of Týr and this is one of my favourite songs. The orchestra also really adds another level of epicness. Love it.

I've been listening to this band for a long time, and today, as I listened to the album of this song again, I thought it would be great to see them play live. It's great! I don't understand how this video has no more views, because it deserves it😍
Kari is a very solid drummer. For me the best Tyr ever had. People, especially in metal, judge by flashiness and technique, when sometimes it's all about finding the perfect balance. Kari was always finding the sweet spot between simplicity and complexity in the previous records, for me. Don't get me wrong, Tadeusz is an excellent drummer perfectly suited for Hel, but his drumming feels saturated and overloaded (lack of better terms, sorry for that) sometimes.
My gods, you guys are amazing. Not only do you have badass guitar riffs, harmonies, etc, but badass bass lines and excellent vocals both with clean vocals and screams and grit ❤️. The gods walk with you 🤘

I've seen Tyr in the smallest venue possible like ten years ago (I have some videos of it on my channel, this one for instance : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-II15XFyYosU.html - by the way, Heri, if you read this, I apologize for filming you right under your nose, now I realize it must have been awkward for you, really sorry) so it feels amazing to see them playing on such a big stage ! :) Oh and by the way, I'm dreaming of a live version for Evening Star, it's probably my favorite Tyr song !
