A ride on České dráhy's last narrow gauge line from Třemešná in Moravia-Silesia to Osoblaha, on the border with Poland. Come along and enjoy travel just as it was in the 1960s on this almost-unchanged line in a corner of the Czech Republic

2:54 Just a little correction, the locomotive 705 914 is not a backup at the moment, it is currently undergoing repairs where among other modifications it is given retro livery and when 705 913 breaks down, a replacement bus service comes in.

@@JohnnyHooverTravels This morning I opened Instagram and on the profile of the fans of this narrow gauge railway I found that the locomotive 705 914 arrived today, 4.3.2024 to the depot Osoblaha.

I did once suggest that toilet reviews be confined to a specialist channel for dedicated fans. However this one did have charm. I think Simon Jenkins will give it 5 stars in his upcoming 100 Best Loo Reviews.

"Fresh air from two sources". haha! I think loo reviews are a contentious point for travel videos. It is part of the service, so worthy of mention, but I try to make them as quick as possible. I've usually actually used the toilet myself before/after filming the space, so I think you can generally take my word for it that stuff is or isn't working OK without showing hands being washed. Obviously, in this case, this one was quite "special". But of course, things were very different in 1965 when the carriage was built!
