Please read this. So if you didn’t know this song was made by t.a.T.u a band consisting of Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina. The two were originally payed into acting lesbian for their audiences but over time they developed a romantic relationship. They seemed happy together a lot of the time but they always struggled. Yulia was a smoker in her preteens and eventually got cancer leading to her voice getting really raspy. They lost a huge amount of fans over the world and especially in Japan. On one of their concerts in Japan their manager for some unknown reason forced them to stay backstage until the crowd had left. Which lead to them getting a lot of criticism. As a apology they made the song “Gomenasai” meaning sorry in Japanese. If you watch older videos you can see Yulia (The blackhaired) kinda make fun of her own body and compare it to Lena. She seemed very self conscious about it but tried to play it off as fun but she underwent a lot of plastic surgery. The two of them split up and Yulia found a boyfriend. He was a homophobic Muslim and t.a.T.u was always a inspiration for young lesbian girls, even if it was formed by a heterosexul man. After that they really lost contact and in the last few videos you can really see how Yulia tries to get close to Lena but is always rejected.. It’s so sad because you can tell that Yulia is depressed, without Lena she seems so empty and their history is so unknown. So please watch a few montages of them together and just know that one man forced his Muslim beliefs onto one of them resulting in all those years of love ending..
