I just know how that steak was... Awful. So full of gristle and connective tissue & overcooked. Damn, nothing better than a good steak & this wasn't one of 'em.

@@MicksA To be fair, no matter what the quality of the meat it's as good as ruined when cooked to well done like this disaster on a plate. Might be ok if you've got the palate of a 5 year old and eat your steaks with ketchup on the side, but if you have to go past medium you really should be ordering the chicken.

As an old butcher...TBone has to be well done because the bone keeps the meat and juices intact. When eating it run your knife along the bone to release the porterhouse steak, and do the same for fillet under the bone. And the best TBone should be cut at least 1 inch (2.5cm) thick. Anyway, glad you enjoyed your steak mate.

Sorry to say but that steak looks terrible, just a gristle piece of leather.and way over cooked. I cant ever remember getting decent prawns or any seafood from a club, always cheap farmed rubbish. The chips look under cooked too.

ok, so med rare steak if rested properly will show some tinges of dark red but not blood as such dripping everywhere because it is rested properly. that steak looked medium well bordering on well, so technically it's overcooked for you, did you take it back? I guess not but that's your choice.

I go here all the time and resisted a piss up yd with a mate. I have had the best steak in my life there but it was around end of 2010 era.. it was a texas tbone and took up the whole plate! Ive done all steak joints around barangaroo including that meat and co etc to give perspective.The price is the restaurant is very unaustralian lol but honestly the food before the upgrade shat on so many inner city places value for $. I still enjoying lurking in this club.. pokies smokes the whole lot but prices now are Extreme! Great watch too! Try the hotel food there its amazing but ultra pricey! Cheers mate and happy belated ozzie day! I feel the cook did more well done too.
