Very informative and a subject dear to my heart as I was diagnosed with Mycosis Fungoides at Stage 2b about 2 years ago.So far I've only lost a finger to it due to a tumour but who knows what the future holds?

My Oncollogist refused to give me Brentuximab while my ailment was (ALK negatief) anaplastic large T cell lymfoom (ALCL) with marker CD 30 i studied what i had but they refused to give me this Brentuximab even while i was asking But she said no because she said it was the negative subtype So i had 6 Rounds of CHOP. I had i refraction because of the lack of Brentuximab and guess what happened after the results of the PET Scan ? bad news and now they leave me to die. And all these letters that are send to my local Docter are closed with This Letter is elektronic Agreed upon (A.I.) en that's why not signed. Give me some hope I live in the Netherlands and cannot even have a good talk with my local docter

I am so sorry. My husband has just completed 6 rounds of aggressive Chemotherapy , including Brentuximab. BHe was diagnosed with stage 3, Alk negative , Anaplastic Large T Cell Lymphoma After his third round his Oncologist Did a repeat pet Scan and all of the tumors were gone ! He still had to complete the 6 rounds of chemotherapy. Thursday, July 11, 2024 and repeat PET Scan will be repeated in 6 to 8 weeks to see if he is in remission. There is a chance that he may need a Stem Cell Transplant in the future. We are so thankful he received the Brentuximab. I hope that your Dr's can do something for you. We will add you to our prayer list and hope for the best.

@@susansullivan5203 i'm still alive been administered Brentuximab after seeing my second opinion past november i had a compliction called the syndrome of tumorlisis , They rushed me into the hospital where i stayed for 2 months after the first weeks of the 2 months they tried to stabilize my hypercalcemia that came from this tumorlisis the progress was so slow that they had to gamble with my life so they have administered Brentuximab then after a few days sudden reduction was noticed on my cancer but the level of tumorlisis was far too high they tried to stabilized my tumorlisis that time it worked then i was too low on kalium so i was administered kalium chloride that had an awefull taste, by that time i develloped a delirium during the recovery. I catched Flu and another virus because my immune systen was very very low. After that i walked in the Hospital and started to make little improvements. on mid January this year they released me from the hospital because i was stable enough but too weak to function. So they administered me to a revalidation center to strengthen me untill i was strong enough to climb the stairs again this took me 2 weeks of training till i was good enough to go Home. This was pretty fast recovery. After returning home things started slowly improving from walks to the shop and back till going further out like walks in the park - that proces took me several months till April - may. It is now July and i can reach up to 12 km walks and count myself stronger before even before i had cancer. My story seems to be one of victory but i guess i will not be out of the woods yet. I can get relapses and becoming weak again. But i don't want to hope that for now , tomorrow i have my PET Scan and hope for remission.
