T.I is that uncle at the family function that has the best stories and the realist advice ! Always a pleasure when he does a interview on the breakfast club! Great interview!
He is truly a stand up man. I saw him at the International Airport. I said “What’s up T.I” he responded “How are you Sir” I thought WOW,,,dude got mad respect. Just wasn’t expecting that. He’s older than me. Anyway, die hard T I fan.
Angela Yee: So why another album? T.I: My intellectual intelligence obligated me to drop a spiritual biography based on my up bringing with my economical developmental experiences.
one thing I learned from Trump is never be on Twitter about personal problems ...i know Obama wanted to be like White ppl are racist and stuff but he knew he reps the whole USA and you gotta have a chill ...Trump just says w.e and normally i respect anyone that doesn't hold back but not when you are a leader of millions of ppl and the face of a country you gotta hold some personal shit aside
yeah, it's like when you like a girl but you have a girl so you have to pretend to not like the girl and you overcompensate by showing her too much disrespect
If all you had common sense, then you all would know that the running joke is T.I. tends to always use verbage that isn't usually necessary in sentences. He tends to always want to sound more intelligent than what he really is. Hence all the jokes.
I agree with you. At the same time, they need to respect her alil mo. What I mean is, they see she's trying to ask a question and they will start interrupting her. some interviews she will get right back to it or stand her ground, but in a lot of them she won't.
10 years after T.I. released Live your Life - his words in the song are more relevant than ever. I got love for the game But ay I'm not in love with all of it Could do without the fame And rappers nowadays are comedy The hootin' and the hollerin' Back and forth with the arguin' Where you from, who you know What you make and what kind of car you in Seems as though you lost sight Of what's important when depositin' Them checks into your bank account And you up out of poverty Your values is a disarray, prioritizin' horribly Unhappy with the riches 'Cause you're piss poor morally Ignorin' all prior advice and forewarnin' And we mighty full of ourselves all of a sudden, aren't we?
Asap, what up what's happenin, big shit poppin, 24s, U don't know me, go get it, I'm back, motivation, what you know about that, top back, rubber band man, bring em out mannnn stop playing wit me 😭 I grew up listening to TI and Twisa mostly those were my favorite rappers in the 106 & park days
DJ ENVY: Explain to the people what trap music is for the people that don’t know... Clifford: Well it’s quite simple. We must first understand the commencement of the term “trap”. Once I acknowledged the causality between “trap” and the method in which it was utilized, I was able to exemplify its personification while constructing the embodiment of music that you are referring while also expressing the abnormalities of our previous understanding.
Fun fact. When you mock the way T.I speaks, you show that you too have the ability to speak that way as well. Why you choose not to is another conversation.
Bad Snuggles english language that is from england it’s not my natural tongue and that’s why so many black and brown people have issues with it. no matter how much english classes the system pushes down our throat. and speaking it correctly doesn’t measure your level of intelligence. sit y’all asses down somewhere with that shit.
Salute to TI. Let's just be honest and call it what it is. I think TI & Ludacris are two of the best rappers to ever come from the south. They should be mentioned in the same breath as Scarface, 8ball & MJG, Outkast, UGK and Goodie Mob.
Torenzo Gregory I feel you on that but it’s still a lot of south legends that came thru like Pimp C & Bun B , Big Hawk , Boosie if you talkin about real hood soul music , ace hood if you really like lyrics ... the south has a lot of legends old and current
I must admit, I love T.I.!! Incredibly competent at being a “professional human being” He knows how to make great recoveries from chaotic situations.💜💜💜😇😇
Master P showed us how to get it on our own, independently whereas Dame instilled in us how not to be owned but partner up with companies. Both are essential to our culture. However you choose to comprehend and comply to their gems is all based upon perspective.
LOL IM WATCHING NOW AND THAT IS A TRUE STATEMENT.. YOUNG LADY WAS GETTING IT. MY QUESTION IS DO SHE KNOW THE VANTAGE POINT SHE HAS THROUGH THAT WINDOW.
Ditto. Reminds of the analogy Tupac made between showing violence in the music videos with the journalists publishing photographs of the bloodshed in Vietnam (which eventually stopped it).
Tip was scared to swing on Flip, he knew Floyd would go to jail if he swung back, his hands are registered. If you wont swing on Flip you aint go swing on Floyd unless he felt protected
T.I is always a great interview man,it's hard to get through a lot of the other Breakfast Club's other interviews but Tip is always a good listen! respect!!!
@Will _ You’re definitely a follower kind of person. And why tf would we make T.I. the voice of the people? Nigga doesn’t even have a degree! Are you fucking kidding me? Lol
Great interview!!! Honestly TI the way gentrification is going here (in Atlanta), working class people need an AFFORDABLE home. You may want to retry that!! (And possibly work with Atlanta Housing Authority)
Folks are joking about it but if he had a high school diploma and a college degree(both of which you have to have to be a teacher), I could seriously picture T.I. as a teacher. But T.I. dropped out of high school and didn't go to college so he couldn't be a teacher but he damned sure speaks like one. He's articulate and intelligent and he's living proof of there being a difference between someone not having a formal education, not being learned and being dumb. I always say that the two are not the same thing. There are a lot of intelligent and successful people like T.I. who never graduated from high school or went to university(or who didn't FINISH it like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg) just as there are some incredibly stupid people who finished school like the current President Of The United States. But I'm not advocating that young people not stay in school and finish their education(and I'm sure T.I. wouldn't advocate that, either), stay in school, use knowledge and education to better yourself. But I'll never forget something Birdman once said in an interview, ''Ain't nothin' wrong with education. But I got common knowledge. That'll get you far, too.''
Exactly, maybe you should "expect" them to. The principle is no different than many white people being "shocked" or "impressed" when a black person has graduated college -- nothing particularly impressive ( I understand that there are many social issues impacting access. But, the presumption of white people shouldn't be shocked is so parochial/outdated). The same principle applies here.
Nah most people I talk to, black or white, even my professors don’t speak with the diction he does. And there’s nothing wrong with that, some people just like using layman’s terms instead of a more complex vocabulary.
