T.K. Kirkland Speaks On Proper "Usher Etiquette", Being Raised Right, Crediting The OGs + More 

I love watching interviews with T.K. His voice draws you in and make you want to listen. Never a dull moment with T.K.

So I'm a 90s baby. I married my first real boyfriend. We started dating when i was 18 and my hubby was 19. My dad hated our relationship in the beginning.. lol you know how it is with Dads.. no one is good enough for his baby girl lol my dad was not nice for a while. And i think it's because like TK mentioned, my dad saw so much of himself in my hubby. But what I loved about my hubby was that he never took offense to the issues my dad would bring up. He knew he was young and had soo much to work on. He told me years later that he felt like my dad made him a better partner for me. And i think my dad saw his potential and just wanted to push him. Fast forward to 2015. My husband asked both my parents for my hand in marriage. We were married in 2016. Now after 7 years of being married, my hubby and dad are best friends. They hang out at least 3 times a week. It makes my heart smile so much lol My dad never had a son, and with my hubby he gained one! I love their relationship! We have come soo far! Lol

Year had to be '95 or '96. Ginuwine was performing at a local club and he called my girl to the dance floor. I was like go ahead. He did his thing and she was in heaven. Ginuwine even bought us both drinks after his set. He invited us to VIP but I told her to go over there with her girl and I hung with my guys. He couldn't believe I was her bf and gave me props by the end of the night. That's who I am and I have no idea what it feels like to be the other type of guy.

Tk is 100% correct. You will for sure be more successful when you are raised with direction. Or being shown and told what to do. Learning everything on your own makes things way harder.

Tks voice is melodious, he is incredibly well mannered. His mother must be bursting with pride to see and hear her sons’ achievements knowing how hard it must have been trying to raise children when you were a child yourself.(our loved ones physically may be gone, but I believe they still help to influence us to be our better selves.) Salute to all the Fathers out there who are putting in the work to guide and raise their children🤗🥰 May the Creator continue to keep you curious so you continue to evolve as a person, and uplift all who come into your circle. Here’s to Real Men as opposed to boys in bigger trousers🤔

TK is so right about people being told what to do… Another Example: I work out at the gym, and I KNOW a lot of things that I need to do… HOWEVER I prefer a trainer to tell me what to do, how to etc, & that xtra push!! Because a lot of the workouts that my trainer had me doing… I’m Not going to lie, I would NOT be doing those things, or as many reps requested, and I would take longer breaks to catch my breath 🤭🤭🤭 I KNOW IT!! So in that sense I OVE & Prefer to workout w/ a trainer as opposed to on my own!! 🤷🏽‍♀️
